Selected for this year's cider (Helsinki Beer Festival 2011). tasting of Ore Farm Brewery In Malmgård historic environment is now a brewery! Here is a selection of beers in everyone's tastes. Malminkartano Dinkel is an example of a beer which spelled part of the flavoring. Another beer is strong Malminkartano Belge, an ale inspired by Belgium.

This golden, light-bodied, easy-drinking “session beer” may weigh in at 4.2% ABV, but it’s no entry-level puff beer. It is a classic English Bitter called “one of the best beers brewed in the USA in the last 20 years” by Duncan Ward Deputy Head Steward of the Great British Beer Festival. Huxell was first brewed in honor of our dear friend and amazing ultimate Frisbee teammate Dave “Cipher” Huxell who left us a few years back. Proceeds from this beer were used to capitalize an Arbor Community Foundation fund in his honor that benefits literacy, the environment, and animal rights in our community.

Every other week IPA series. Amarillo, Palisade, & El Dorado. Dry hopped with Palisade and HBC 342. Melon nose with a great pine finish.

Firestone Walker Brewing Co. and Flying Dog Brewery are separated by 2,700 miles of American desert, mountains, plains and forests, but that’s not stopping them. These two legendary breweries are teaming up to brew the 2014 SAVOR collaboration beer. Since the tradition began in 2011, SAVOR attendees have been treated to a beer brewed exclusively for them to enjoy at the event and take home as a delicious bottled souvenir. This year is no different, and we’re looking forward to the result of this California-Maryland collaboration. But what will the beer be? Sources at Flying Dog have told us that “Hydra Cuveé” will be a blend of robust porter. In keeping with Greek mythology, the hydra represents three distinct parts—the lion, the bear (both from Firestone Walker’s insignia) and the Flying Dog. The robust porter will be brewed on March 24, and will be blended with two bourbon barrel-aged beers. Expect the porter to be rich and chewy with a lot of caramel and chocolate malts alongside oat flakes and a mellow stone fruit hop profile. Flying Dog’s Matt Brophy and Firestone Walker’s Matt Brynildson will select the two barrel-aged beers on March 24. Those are expected to add creamy vanilla, spice and warmth from the oak-aging process.

Pine and citrus hop aromas backed by rich roasted malt. Hyperion is the world's tallest known tree at 379 feet! It is growing in an remote area of Redwood National State Park.

Hypnopompa is our imperial stout brewed with almost 100 kilos of marshmallows and Tahitian vanilla beans (the size of cigars). Low carbonation and boiled a bit extra for good measure, this is a beer strictly for the stout inclined. Drink now or age for many years. Bourbon barrel aged edition comes with a gold cap. Cognac (Grönstedts) barrel aged edition comes with a green sticker.

Intentionally hazy IPA using Golden Promise, Oats, Rye and acid malt in the mash for a smooth and lightly tart body. Citra, Amarillo, Mosaic and Simcoe T90 hops were used in the whirlpool and Citra, Mosaic & Simcoe Cryo Hops™ Lupulin Powder from Yakima Hop Farms in the dry hop creating big tropical aromas and juicy flavour. Fermented with Brett Trois (a recently re-classified saccharomyces strain) to add notes of Pineapple and Mango. Deeply fruity, refreshing and drinkable… are you feeling sleepy yet?

Light, golden ale brewed with coriander.

This traditional Hefe is big on banana and clove flavors from the yeast, with a sweet finish from the wheat heavy malt bill. A perfect beer to enjoy on a sunny day with the Carolina blue sky above.

A "winter-warmer", strong and full-bodied with a pronounced bitterness.

A gruit is a beer made without hops. Traditionally from northern Europe, where hops don't grow terribly well, locally available herbs were used to flavour this traditional style of beer. Ours uses douglas fir boughs, red currants and sage - leaving a tart yet fresh tasting beer.

Dry hopped with Apoloo, Azacca, Brewers Gold and Columbus.
