This beer is an award winning unfiltered German style lager, also known as “zwickelbier”. It is smooth, crisp and refreshing, a product of the longer, cooler fermentation. Our most award-winning beer, Gold Country Pilsner is brewed as a traditional American-style Pilsner - a popular beer enjoyed by early settlers in our region. Our pilsner is pale in color, has brilliant clarity and a soft white head. Lighter in color, but not in taste, a Golden Ale Classic. Honoring John Sutter, a pioneer Swiss, the discoverer of Gold at Sutter’s Mill in California. Without whom the WEST as we know it today would have been very much different. Gold Miner delivers tremendous complexity for a lighter colored ale, made possible by the harmonious malt mixture and the generous use of whole leaf hops, including a Noble variety. The nose is almost perfume-like, enchanting the taster to the point of serendipity. Mouthfeel is incredibly luscious and rewarding, as is the clean finish. Subsequent tastes invite further discovery of just how balanced the 6 malts and hops contribute to a very unique drinking pleasure.

Gold Road was created as an easy to drink beer for a lazy afternoon. Gold Road is light straw in color and has an approachable biscuit maltiness with a dry and stone fruit finish. This beer reminded us of the famous serpentine curves that carve through the mountains and canyons near Oatman, Arizona. Although most of the gold mining ended years ago and these stakes have been reclaimed by the desert, there is still one gold mine directly underneath Route 66 at a depth of 500′. Two Birds Golden Ale is brewed using ale, wheat and Vienna malts. It is bittered with New Zealand Southern Cross hops while Motueka and Australian Summer hops are used for aroma. Motueka contributes melon and citrus aromas and flavours, while Summer contributes spice and apricot notes.

Our latest work of art is a cream ale delicately hopped with Tradition and Liberty hops. To achieve the light, sparkling color, we used 90% Pilsen malt and the rest malted wheat for a little body. Crisp and lemony, Golden Ale-ement makes for a tasty session ale at only 4.6%.
