Gold Beach Lager

This beer is an award winning unfiltered German style lager, also known as “zwickelbier”. It is smooth, crisp and refreshing, a product of the longer, cooler fermentation. Don’t be misled by its light color, this lager has much more flavor than American style lagers. Brewed with 100% German ingredients, the Hallertau hops are what give its distinct flavor of lemony citrus. A well carbonated beer that leaves the perfect tingle on your tongue. With an ABV of 5% this beer is one you’ll want to have a few of! *2014 Gold Medal --North American Brewers Association *2014 Gold Medal --Great American Beer Festival Awards

Gold Coin

Light, simple and drinkable at nearly every gathering you might be lucky enough to hap upon - as long as those at the gathering consider beautiful golden goodness something worth gathering about. Helles is the German word for light, yet that translation does not do it justice. The Germans do not have "light" beer as we think of it in the states with low calories and lower flavor. Instead they use Helles or light do describe the golden color of this full flavored classic. This style is perhaps the most delicate of lagers. It has very little hop nose and little to no upfront bitterness. Instead it relies on sublet malt flavor and perfect balance to create its satisfying pallet.

Gold Miner

Lighter in color, but not in taste, a Golden Ale Classic. Honoring John Sutter, a pioneer Swiss, the discoverer of Gold at Sutter’s Mill in California. Without whom the WEST as we know it today would have been very much different. Gold Miner delivers tremendous complexity for a lighter colored ale, made possible by the harmonious malt mixture and the generous use of whole leaf hops, including a Noble variety. The nose is almost perfume-like, enchanting the taster to the point of serendipity. Mouthfeel is incredibly luscious and rewarding, as is the clean finish. Subsequent tastes invite further discovery of just how balanced the 6 malts and hops contribute to a very unique drinking pleasure.

Gold Road

Gold Road was created as an easy to drink beer for a lazy afternoon. Gold Road is light straw in color and has an approachable biscuit maltiness with a dry and stone fruit finish. This beer reminded us of the famous serpentine curves that carve through the mountains and canyons near Oatman, Arizona. Although most of the gold mining ended years ago and these stakes have been reclaimed by the desert, there is still one gold mine directly underneath Route 66 at a depth of 500′. If you can’t make it to the mine, find this gold colored ale in your favorite stores.

Golden

Golden is a crisp, clean continental lager. Just four ingredients are all it takes: American malt, Mt. Hood hops, German lager yeast and pure Abita Spring's water. As the name implies, Abita Golden has a brilliant gold color. Its flavor makes this light lager the perfect match for Louisiana Creole food. Both Abita Light and Abita Golden go well with just about anything. Try it with mild rice or pasta dishes, grilled vegetables, grilled chicken and fish, and even with something spicy like Louisiana boiled crawfish, shrimp and crabs. Goat cheeses like feta and chevre pair well with Abita Golden.
