Soft caramel malty nose. Tastes rich and nutty, toast, with hints of sweet caramel and biscuit, finishes pleasantly boozy.

Originally brewed for thirsty British troops stationed on the subcontinent of India, India Pale Ales had to withstand the sea voyage around Africa. Brewers need to take full advantage of two preservatives at the time: hops and alcohol. They increased their hopping rates, doubled their malt useage to increase alcohol content, and dry-hopped the brew before it set out on its voyage. Our Imperial IPA carries on this tradition- and then some! The fruity and citrusy hop aroma intermingles perfectly with an assertive malty backbone. Our brewers added a generous supply of hops to this brew throughout the entire process to provide an enormous hop flavor and balance the elevated alcohol content.

This Imperial India Pale Ale, or IPA, is medium-bodied with a high hop flavor. We dry-hopped it with Simcoe & Chinook Hops to give it a great flavor & aroma for a well-balanced beer!

A nice smooth citrus imperial IPA

Bright notes of citrus including grapefruit and lime on the nose leading to grapefruit, lime and light floral on the palate with a bitter, hopped finish. Sandi’s signature: Copious amounts of Cascade hops added late kettle, Legacy hops and our well water.

A full bodied, copper colored India Pale Ale with a strong alcohol content and an aggressive "fresh hop" finish. Only in the great Northwest can you find such a well balanced, over the top, highly hopped draft ale. This beer won the Alpha King challenge in 2006 and 2nd place in 2008 - the only brewery from Washington to bring home the Alpha King title so far!

This beer is the epitome of Epic’s IPAs. Weighing in at 9.5% ABV this hard hitting brew manages to pack a punch while still providing that fantastically complex IPA flavor. Slightly floral aromas hit the nose while resinous flavors dominate the body, finishing with the ideal palate cleansing bitterness.

This intense and substantial Imperial India Pale Ale boasts 8% abv., a meaty malt backbone, and a huge hop character! Aged three months and dry hopped for two weeks, this big orange monster ia allowed to mellow while it picks up about as much hop aroma as any beer can realistially hold.This popular brew is available on draft only and it won't last long.

A full bodied double IPA with double the hops that are in our Humulus Lupulus

This beer is defined by its pronounced hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. 3 pounds of highly aromatic American hops were added per barrel to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. The mouth feel is crisp and dry leaving a balance of bitterness and rich malt on the palate.

This full bodied Imperial IPA is brewed with massive amounts of premium varieties of hops such as Amarillo, Cascade, Simcoe and Crystal and paired with a rich blend of luscious Munich, caramel and 2-row pale malts. The result is a perfect balance of luxuriant malt and heady, exhilarating hop flavor. After primary fermentation is finished, we dry hop our Imperial IPA with copious quantities of the above mentioned hops. It is then cold conditioned for a few weeks. The result is an outstanding and unforgettable hop aroma. Starting with an original gravity of 20 Plato and finishing at 8.0% alcohol by volume, this Imperial India Pale is a hop tour de force!

We made a an Imperial IPA for the winter season and people loved it so much we kept it around. We upped the hops and alcohol, added some rye for spiciness and maple sugar from the great state of Vermont for well, maple-ness. This is a big hoppy Imperial IPA that is a balanced, aromatic, dry, and delicious. It pairs well to powerful flavors and bright foods. Enjoy!
