Aged in our port barrels for six months - the result is a smooth dark beer full of aromas of dark chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Hints of raisins, cherries and smoke picked up from the barrel make this a robust but smooth stout.

Aged for one year, this brew is a hybrid between a Russian style Imperial Stout and an American Stout. This unique lager is jet black, smooth and tasty. The bittering hops offset the smooth sweetness of the roasted malt. A delicious after dinner beer, best enjoyed with friends. A perfect way to celebrate the beginning of the new year. Na Zdorovie!

Starting with a /Dry Stout recipe as a base, our brewers "kicked it up" quite a bit. Very rich, dry, sharp and malty, with an almost dark coffee roasted flavor.

Big, boozy, and viscous. Technically an oatmeal stout, this monster of a beer only gets better as it ages. Aging in whiskey barrels lends whiskey, vanilla, and oak to the finish.

Created in the 18th Century by British brewers for the kinda scary Czars of Russia, the Imperial Stout was designed to be dark, strong, and hardy enough to handle the long and perilous voyage across the Baltic Sea. And you do not want to disappoint the Czars of Russia. Our version is made to stand the test of time, too, featuring rich flavors of chocolate, toffee, coffee, currant, and vanilla. Budem zdorovy!

Boasting rich, roasty aromas and flavors of roasted coffee, black currants, plums, and bittersweet cocoa, this beer certainly packs a punch. A generous hop addition adds a level of complexity and balance, along with a pleasant bitterness. This extraordinary stout will continue to mature nicely with age. Flavors tend to mellow and become more rounded after a year or two. Buy as much as you can and lay some down in the cellar for a few years to taste multiple vintages vertically. A RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT

It’s time again for that wonderful liquid food known as the Imperial Stout! First brewed all over Great Britain for Russia’s Imperial Court. With nearly twice the ingredients as our normal stout, it is roasty and velvety smooth with lots of alcoholic complexity.

Brewed on November 9, 2012. Packaged November 20, 2012.

We lowered the Chinook and raised the Cascade hops just a bit to balance out this malty beer with a touch more roasted barley to boot. Brewed on January 27, 2011. Packaged February 14, 2011.

This rich, imperiously dark stout has notes of chocolate, roasted coffee and a slight amount of toffee with a lingering finish with just a touch of alcohol. Brewed on January 5, 2012. Packaged February 28, 2012.
