Imperial Stout With Coconut

Like India Pale Ale, the classic Imperial Stouts were originally brewed with high levels of alcohol and hops to withstand the rigors of a long sea journey, not to India but to Imperial Russia and the Baltic States. Our version is an over-the-top riff on the style, with a huge grain bill featuring several kinds of malted barley, wheat, rye, oats, and spelt. Robust grain and coffee flavors are counterbalanced by date and plum notes from the Belgian yeast. To add extra complexity and depth, this Imperial Stout is made up of a blend of freshly brewed beer and several barrel-aged beers, carefully balanced. Za Vas!

Imperiale

An Imperial Stout inspired by the traditional Imperial Russian Stouts that were created in London in the XVIII century by the Thrale's Brewery, especially for Catherine II's court in Russia. With its deep dark colour and an important ABV, Imperiale it's the perfect beer for the coldest months thanks to its round, rich and creamy body and it's roasted coffee and liquorice notes that softly mingle with the honey ones. Uniques features given by the different variety of malts we used, but also by the three month ageing in wooden barrel. A great "meditation beer" to be drunk on its own, but you can also pair it with tasty meat recipes or chocolate desserts.

Imperium (Mysterium Verum)

Imperium is the second release in the brewer's new line of barrel refermented wild ales, though it is the first to feature wild yeast that is indigenous to the Hill Country. Lost Gold IPA was aged in American oak barrels for 6 months after being inoculated with a strain of wild yeast that was harvested from the skies surrounding the brewery. While the aroma hints at a subtle tartness, the flavor centers around a dry, funky, barnyard character that matches perfectly with the elevated hop level of this IPA.

Improv

What you have here is an Oatmeal Rye India-style Brown Ale. Now you might be thinking oatmeal, rye, brown ale, India-style; isn’t that a lot to be going on in just one beer? Well yes, it is. But that is the point. Layers. Flavor elements building on and playing off of preceding elements, like a building wave; a growing crescendum of taste bud temptation; a wall of sound expressed through flavor and channeled toward your mouth. This beer isn’t for everyone. In many ways it is more than just a little weird. It certainly doesn’t fit easily into any category. It isn’t a brown ale, not just a brown ale anyway. It certainly isn’t an IPA. Calling it a rye beer would be selling it way short. In the spirit of all great things that are conceived in the moment, but perfected through passionate repetition it started life as an improvisation and grew from there. And it might not be for you. But if the thought of big spicy rye notes, a wallop of a hop punch, multitudinous layers of caramel, sweet malt and a respectable balancing gravity sound intriguing then you might want to wing it and give Improv a try.

In Bloom IPA

Murray's In Bloom IPA is a celebration of fresh whole cone hop flowers. We added flowers all the way through the brewing process, from the mash onward and jammed as many into the brewery's brand new Hop Back as we could fit. Their fresh resiny hop goodness was squeezed out of them on the way to the fermenter creating a great burst of fresh hop flavour and aroma. Balanced by clean British malt flavours and a slightly cooler than our usual fermentation profile, In Bloom is a hop lover's Nirvana! 6% ABV, available draught only while stocks last.

In The Fields

From the intense, tropical flavouring of this ultra pale ale, you would be led to believe that the hops it’s brewed with were grown somewhere further afield – wrong! We combined the brilliance of classic (Bramling Cross) and new (Olicana) British hops to create a flavourful, refreshing beer that gives our American counterparts a run for their money.
