A great session beer, beautiful blonde in color, light in body thanks to an all Pilsen malt bill. All Crystal hops make for the perfect bitterness and aroma with floral notes and spice that finishes crisp and clean from the use of a California Common Lager yeast.

After some heavy experimenting with this beer, we’re finally ready to share it with the world. We combined elements from a Northwest IPA and a European Amber Lager to get a smooth, rich, hoppy brew, spicy and citrusy from a generous dry-hopping of Amarillo and Sterling hops.

Our mascot, Phil the Pelican, has recreated the flavor of the British Empire with his own American twist. Enjoy the huge Cascade and Centennial hop aroma, the subtle malty sweetness, and the floral, citrusy flavor of this robust, gold colored ale. This brew began life as a seasonal beer during our first year and was so popular while we had it, and so frequently requested when it was gone, that we turned it into our fifth regular beer style our second year.

The India Red Ale, or IRA, brings together the alluring red hue and malty body of a red ale with all the intense citrus, grapefruit, and piney hoppiness you’d expect from an American IPA. This beer features first-wort hopping to achieve a smooth bitterness. Hops: Centennial, Chinook, Cascade, Nugget Malts: Pils, Munich, Special B, Caramel, & Biscuit

This brew has a nice big malt flavor and balanced hop bitterness. The Mosaic and Azacca hops lends hints of maraschino cherry, tropical guava and mango to this ale we are lovingly calling India Red Ale.

This India Red Ale is a great choice for malt lovers and hop lovers alike! US Tettnang, Crystal, Willamette, and Summer Triskel hops deliver aromas of herbal spice, raisins, and figs followed by a pleasant woodiness. Cara Red malt and black barley lend a full malt character with dark caramel and toffee flavors.

he Legend of the elusive name Sarasota and the Indian Jewel that protects our Coast. It begins with the love between Indian brave Chichi-Okobee and Sara De Soto, daughter of Hernando Desoto. When Chichi-Okobee was near death, Sara nursed him back to health. Unfortunately he and his medicine men were not able to bring her back to health after she became ill and later died. With 100 warriors Okobee and Desoto searched for the most beautiful body of water as a final resting place. When found, Okobee and the warriors destroyed their canoes with tomahawks. The warriors and leader rested on the bottom of the bay, a perpetual guard to Sara’s grave (The Indian Jewel). Now known as Sarasota Bay, it is said the Indian Jewel guards us from severe storms.

Pilsners originated in Plzen, Czech Republic. They are light colored lager beers whose flowery hop aroma is followed by a rich malty sweetness and ends with a firm bitterness. Mass produced American beers say they are of this style but have extremely lightened malt and hop characteristics. Our Indian Paintbrush Pilsner is a traditional style European pilsner, brewed with 100% pilsner malt. Hopping with Czech lineage hops produces a spicy bitterness as well as a crisp finish. The alcohol content is 5.0% by volume. Indian Paintbrush Pilsner is a signature beer of Cory Buenning. North American Brewers Fest 2010 – Gold

This new world IPA is aggressively hopped, including the signature Cascade hop. For balance this brew has a solid malt background with lots of caramelmalts for body and mouth feel.

A flavorful Red Ale with a generous helping of fresh Cascade hops. A full-bodied unfiltered beer with a slightly dry and roasted finish.

This India Pale Ale has been crafted using Camden Haven rainwater along with quality Australian malts and hops to create a beer that will endure the hardship of the voyage from Herons Creek to you. The higher alcohol, increased hop bitterness and bottle conditioning provides a depth of flavour that will only improve with time.
