Kellerbier

“Cellar Beer” is a unique type of European beer which is not clarified or pasteurized and rarely found these days at all. The pronounced style originates from Franconia (a region of Southern Germany) dating as early as the Middle Ages. Our hand-crafted Kellerbier is bottom-fermented, traditionally prepared with only pure ingredients and lagered. The fresh direct mountain New York water maintains a perfect amount of minerals to compliment the sweetness of the premium grains and the bitterness from the noble hops. Together you have a well-balanced body of the Kellerbier ready to enjoy; just as those did for centuries since the Medieval Renaissance period. Pull out your Viking hats, Kellerbier is traditionally drunk out of earthenware mugs. The use of eating utensils may be optional with foods. This unfiltered amber lager maintains slightly nutty with hints of caramel, honey and plum flavors. Aromas of apple and citrus combine to give this beer a fruity, zesty freshness. Patiently lagered for four weeks, then filled without filtering gives the traditional cloudy appearance.

Kellerbier

The uniqueness of this beer comes from the yeast. To be precise, a special ale yeast a friendly brewer in England makes Riegele Kellerbier so fruity-fresh. The yeast harmonized unique with the three selected Juramalzsorten (a blend of Munich malt - barley malt kilned red, Pilsener malt (barley malt) and wheat). These three malts are digested and refined in Riegele Two mashing process with the Riegele Spelzentrennung, which gives the beer its distinctive character. A small pinch of Hersbrucker aroma hops gives the beer the finishing touches before it matures in the beer cellars handgeziegelten alone. A piece of craftsmanship!

Kellerbier

A rather old, rare, and unique German beer style, Kellerbiers are unfiltered and unpasteurized lagers that date back to at least the Middle Ages. The beer is matured, unbunged (beer is exposed), in deep vaults. The final product is a smooth, naturally cloudy beer that's rich in vitamins (from the yeast). Hop bitterness can be high and alcohol will vary. Zwickel Bier is similar to a Keller, but not as pronounced.

Kelley Square Kolsch

Named after Kelley Square right here in Worcester. This infamous traffic jam is named after WW1 veteran and local hero Cornelius Kelley. The Kolsch style is one of the lesser known German Ales. Made with 100% authentic ingredients including Kolsch yeast from our friends at Gardner Ale House. Light golden in color with light malt aroma, background fruitiness and hints of sulfur. Soft malt flavor is complimented by light fruitiness that is washed away with noble hop bitterness and a slightly dry finish. Very comparable to Pilsner or other European Lagers in most aspects.

Kelpie

Prior to the 1850's Scottish coastal alehouses brewed with malted barley, grown in fields fertilised by seaweed. This environment gave the barley a very specific flavour which we recreate by the inclusion of fresh seaweed in the mash tun. A rich dark chocolate ale, which has the aroma of a fresh Scottish sea breeze and a distinctive malty texture.

A collaboration brew with Victory Brewing Co! Based on the 19th century recipes, this is a strong, malty amber ale with a bit of spice in the background from the use of Coriander, Grains of Paradise, and Piment d’esplette peppers. This beer was popular in Cleveland WAY back in the day and now you can drink it anew. Also try the Victory Brewing Co. version on our guest taps—we collaborated this beer and made a batch at each of our breweries.

What can I say about this stout? Even thinking of this stout makes my mind go blank due to how incredible this beer is. We stashed a keg of this beer away waiting for the right time and what a better time then stout month. We took our Coffee Girl Stout and put it into Four Roses Bourbon Barrels and let it sit for two months. What came out of the barrels was…unnaturally delicious. The combination of bourbon and coffee with this amazing stout is nothing short of paradise. Drink it while you can there is only one more keg left!

Kentucky Home

There’s magic in that moment. As the thoroughbreds stride from the paddock to the Post Parade the crowd rises, the familiar music begins, and together everyone sings “My Old Kentucky Home.” Yet that tradition, growing ever more beautiful by the year, isn’t the only one on that first Saturday in May. There are roses, Mint Juleps (oh, the Mint Juleps), and of course, the most exciting two minutes in sports. So let’s lift one to the traditions that make this Commonwealth uncommon. Enjoy this Kentucky Home, a smooth blend of our beer with a dash of Julep Bourbon and oak. They’re at the post… This is a tip of the cap to the traditional Kentucky Derby Mint Julep. We’ve aged a golden ale in bourbon barrels infused with mint. Kentucky Home takes the best parts of the beautiful ale and the influence of a Mint Julep. With notes of a beautiful bourbon and oak, this will be served in a commemorative glass with a special mint garnish.
