Our version of the 'West Coast' IPA - the beer that sparked a revolution When Brett arrived from California he couldn’t believe there weren’t any of his beloved ‘West Coast’ IPAs readily available in the UK. This beer is his version of the style that sparked the craft beer revolution in the US. Among the orchards and pastures of the green and pleasant Somerset countryside you’ll find our unusual brewery. Our neighbours at Westcombe Dairy make one of the finest Cheddars in the world and Madness balances its intensity and flavours perfectly. Open the bottle to a tropical punchbowl of aromas, as this beer is all about the hops. There are masses and masses of late hops and dry hops to maximise the beautiful flavours and aromas, so you can experience wave after wave of tropical and citrus fruits.

This session-style ale presents a deep red color and a light to medium body. It's big on flavor, imparting an up front malt sweetness, light caramel-flavor and medium bitterness intensity in the 25 IBU range. Madrone Red offers a snappy, clean finish for the perfect ending.

This is an imperial stout made with peat smoked malt.

Endearing maltiness with biscuit and toasted malt notes, medium bitterness, amber in color. (Spring and Fall seasonal)

Brewed in collaboration with the fine folks at Goshen Coffee, and Maeva's Coffee Shop in Milton Schoolhouse, this brown ale features a big coffee aroma thanks to 30 gallons of cold brewed Goshen Coffee.

Magella is a Belgian Dark Abbey Ale that our Brew Master Ryan Worthington created in honor of his wife Jessica. Magella is brewed in the typical Belgian fashion, with candy sugar and Belgian hops, malt and yeast. It’s the clove, with hints of banana, that dominate the flavor and aroma of this rich, ruby brown beer. At 11.1% ABV and 48 IBU, this beer makes a great gift that will only improve with age.

A crisp tart apple cider with a light malt, cinnamon, and clove note in the finish. At 6.7% abv this crisp tart cider ale has all ND apples and has gone well!

Our take on a traditional English Sweet Stout. Sparse hopping and the addition of lactose creates a wonderful sweetness and body to the beer which pairs perfectly with the roasted malt and coffee notes. Once prescribed as a nutritional supplement - this is one of the brewer's favorite styles of beers. On Nitro or Draft.

Maggie's Peach Farmhouse Ale has all the flavor and aroma of a freshly picked peach combined with the complexity of a well executed farmhouse ale.

Our triple IPA, brewed specially for the 2015 Washington Hop Mob Roadshow. We named this beer after the infamous Beatles sycophant who promised to outfit Apple Studios with an over-the-top set of equipment that included a 72-track tape machine and a sonic force field to isolate Ringo’s drums. We dedicate this over-the-top triple IPA to Magic Alex.

Belgian ale brewed with green tea.

Unfiltered German Hefeweizen named for the late Jimmy Wilson, Captain of the log canoe Magic. Medium bodied golden wheat ale with a creamy mouthfeel. Slight fruit and clove in both the flavor and aroma due to the special hefeweizen yeast used in this ale.

A nicely hopped pale ale with hints of fresh grapefruit and citrus. This refreshing local wonder is a midwest tribute to the Chicago Cubsʼ ivy-covered outfield wall. Thereʼs a song too!!

Our March lager is a blend of Pilsner and Vienna malt with American-grown noble hop varieties and a Bavarian yeast. It finishes dry, like a Vienna lager, but this stronger style has more toasted malt flavor.
