Razor Wit

This Belgian-style Wit, or “white” ale, is an unfiltered wheat beer brewed with traditional ingredients and a Highland twist. Wits are conventionally brewed with noble hops, pale malt, unmalted wheat, orange peel, and coriander. We have made this beer our own by adding other unique spices to create complex aromatics, a refreshing taste, and a crisp finish. Light in color with a smooth body, Razor Wit is perfect for hot summer days and sultry summer nights. Razor Wit was recently awarded the 2013 "Grand Champion" by the USBTC in the Wit category!

Razzle Dazzle

A witbier mashed with Pale Malt, Flaked Wheat and Flaked Oats. During the boil we added just a smidgen of coriander and bitter orange peel. Hopped with EKG & Tettnang, but the secret to this beer is the generous amount of raspberry puree is was conditioned on. Don't let the pinkish, red hue of the beer fool you, it is not super sweet. It is the perfect combination of sweet and slightly tart, all while retaining the yeast character of a witbier.

RBB * BARREL-AGED * BARLEYWINE

By far our strongest beer. Lively and fruity, with a slight sweetness as a result of small amounts of roasted malts. A blend of bittering and flavor hops provides a subtle bitterness complementing the malty character. Extended storage time in wooden casks has yielded a very smooth and balanced beer without the expected dryness characteristic of higher alcohol beers.

RBU Collaboration #2

What happens when you get 16 breweries together to make a beer? They put a lot of hops in it, that's what. RBU Collaboration # 2 is a celebration of the American IPA and since we're only brewing this beer once, we decided to make it unforgettable. Generously hopped with copious amounts of Amarillo, Simcoe and Centennial hops RBU Collaboration # 2 bursts with hop flavor and aroma. Meant to be enjoyed fresh. Made for the city we love and for people who deserve great beer.

Ready Made 2

A collaboration with Birrifficio Dada from Moderna in Northern Italy, this beer was brewed to celebrate the second ‘Moor Arrogant’ festival here in Bristol. Brewed with a unique blend of Malts including Oatmeal to give a real breakfast time aroma to the beer, we then hopped it with Mosaic and Calypso hops to be reminiscent of the Blueberries and Papaya that you might have on top of your porridge.

Real Ale

Richard Adamson has made his fifth visit to brew for us, this time at Batemans Brewery (Lincolnshire). This is the third time he has brewed this popular beer for us, a modern take on the traditional English best bitter style, with a solid malt backing of caramel and toffee, balanced by hints of spice and a mellow, deep citrus flavour, leading to a long bitter finish. Real Heavy

A Scotch ale brewed by metal aficionados could be called nothing else but Real Heavy. Our take on the Wee Heavy style is an imposing malt forward brew weighing in at 9.3% ABV. It is brewed with English Crystal malt, English hops, and fermented with our house English ale yeast, resulting in a rich brown color and a toffee accented malt character. Bang your head with a couple of pints of Real Heavy.
