The Last Moon is the beer that I designed to celebrate the birth of my first son, Matthew. Remember that during the months of waiting I thought to much beer that I devoted, I wanted to be deep, complex, evocative and that you could devote a long ageing. I decided to use used barrels of Amarone (one of my first loves in the oenological field), but filled only for 2/3 of their volume, so as to promote the beer oxidation with air (a tribute to my past in Andalusia, oxidized wines of a land where I left a piece of heart). The beer (if you can still call) was supposed to originally aged 9 months, but with the experience I realized that the minimum ageing for this beer is 18 months. On the label there are quotes from Dali and Saint-Exupéry, the image of the child raising the sea surrealisticamente is a clear reference to Matthew. What fascinates me in this beer is the exceptional complexity of the tertiary aromas (leather, cheese rind, madeira, wood, toasted almonds) data from oxidation, one thing I like to do is leave open bottles and berle after about 3 months to raise the level of enjoyment.

As complex as its name implies. This bi-annual specialty strong ale employs a wide variety of fragrant hops to augment its robust grain bill, giving it a bold aroma as well as a heavy, yet not overwhelming body. The nose brings grapefruits, papayas, juniper berries, maple sugar, and a hint of spice. The tase that follows is delicately sweet, followed by a mild citrus zest, completed by a smooth, dry finish that lingers pleasantly long after the glass is empty.

Derived from the traditional English style bitter, this is a classic American pale ale. A three malt blend provides a medium bodied ale that is balanced with Northern Brewer and Cascade hops from Washington’s Yakima Valley, giving it a distinctive hop bitterness and aroma. The result is a light-colored brew, firm in both malt and hop presence. The term "pale" was derived due to the beer’s pale color compared to porters and stouts of the 18th Century.

MacTarnahan’s is a deep copper-hued Amber Ale dry-hopped with Cascade hops from the great Northwest. That’s what gives Mac’s its crisp, complex flavor. One taste of our Mac’s Amber Ale and you’ll experience the tradition of a true Portland original. It’s damn good beer.

A zesty pale ale with a smooth and citrusy finish. Brewed with English Maris Otter, Caragold and Wheat malts, with Hallertau Northern Brewer bittering hops and Cascade and Willamette aroma hops.

An American wheat beer brewed with half barley and half wheat. We also spice this beer with sweet orange peel and other spices. A good drinking beer to quench your thirst during the boiling summer months.

There are no nuts harmed in the making of our brown ale. It only seems that way after experiencing the earthy finish of Madtown Nutbrown. And that’s how it should be. You shouldn’t feel like you’ve just had a light beer with food coloring after enjoying a nut brown ale. You should feel satisfied. Creamily satisfied.

Often called "Oktoberfestbier", this amber lager is actually the classic style from Vienna, Austria. It has a bright copper color and a big body, but no obtrusive hop aroma as is often found in amber beers elsewhere. Enjoyed so much by the people of Bavaria that it eventually replaced the Dunkel as the beer of choice at Munich's famed Oktoberfest.

Magic City Pale Ale is a balanced American Pale Ale. Our Pale Ale is brewed with Amarillo hops and it gives this beer an excellent balance between the hop character and malt backbone. It has a nice aroma with hits of malt sweetness. It has a light to medium body. We wanted to create a Pale Ale that was much different than our IPA and could be a great addition to our portfolio. This beer pairs with a wide range of foods. It can go great with a Salad as well as a Burger. Serve this beer in a nonic pint glass.

Latin for 'Great work'. It is also an alchemical method in the creation of the Philosopher's stone, or the ultimate wisdom. This beer is inspired by the great beers of Belgium, in particular the Trappist beers. Our goal was to create a beer in this spirit in our quest for wisdom. This well proportioned Belgian is pleasant and fruity, Copper to Brown in color and mildly hopped.

Maibock is the spring festival beer in Germany – the counterpart to the fall Octoberfest. Saddlebock Maibock is characterized by its light golden color and refreshing and crisp lager flavor – with just a touch of sweet woodruff added during the brew process, for an authentically German flavor.

Rye India Pale Ale Behold! An ale for the adventurous spirit, the explorer in us all. A grand fruity IPA showcasing earthy rye malt and pronounced citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Although this could accompany you well on long travel. We recommend you enjoy it fresh.

Gracefully swaying winter wheat donates its mellow, sweet malt and golden appearance. Cool, pristine waters from ancient glaciers provide the base. Geared for the hop head who would like to enjoy pounds of delicious west coast hops without the side effects of 7 or 8% ABV, this is an all day all weather IPA.

Inspired by Bavaria’s most popular beer style, this golden lager is crisp yet soft with a wonderful malt finish. In Hawaiian “malama” means “to nurture and preserve”; we hope this beer nurtures you!

Oskar Blues’ newest beer is an uncompromising, small-batch version of the beer that made Pilsen, Czech Republic famous. Unlike mass market "pilsners" diluted with corn & rice, Mama’s is built with 100% pale malt, German specialty malts, and Bavarian hops.
