Levity is our lighter take on the amber ale. Munich and honey malts give it a full-bodied flavor and a happy-go-lucky personality. Then we let the finishing hops shine, for a beer that’s crisp instead of bitter. Levity was named by our brewers partly for its light color – and partly for the way it just refuses to take itself too seriously. Hey, we could all use a little levity once in a while.

Lhasa Beer is the first beer anywhere in the world to use the type of barley native to the Tibetan plateau in the modern brewing process. This ground breaking development is the innovation of Master Brewer Alan Kornhauser. He is a repeat winner of multiple gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival and has worked in many different breweries, large and small,domestically and overseas. He specially re-formulated Lhasa Beer for export to discerning beer drinkers around the world. It is carefully crafted it to take advantage of the unique characteristics of Tibetan barley while minimizing the problems that its use presents in the brewing process.

Liberation Ale is light in color and strong in hop character. Dry hopping with Cascade hops, gives this favorite a delicious citrus note reminiscent of a Texas Ruby Red. Its 60 IBUs will satisfy the most demanding of hop heads, while its full malt character balances the assertive hoppiness. This is one of the most well-balanced IPAs you can find.

The Licher employees are always been on the Brewers craft. This still has arisen a variety brewed beers. Visitors can not only visit the brewery and shop at the store, but also stop by the barn with the horses Licher. As one of the few breweries in Germany still maintains Licher this tradition. The eight Belgian draft horses are also focal point of many events.

We took some liberties with our interpretation of this Cream Ale, replacing the typically-used Noble hop with Domestic hops noted for their citrus flavors. The esters in the yeast add to a fruity middle. This gives us a crisp, clean-finishing ale that can serve as a 'gateway beer' of sorts... let's just say we hope to entice domestic drinkers into more, ah, INTERESTING waters. 4% ABV.

Lightfoot is named after a brewery in Masham which Theakstons took over in 1919. The Lightfoot and Theakston families were very close and indeed linked through marriage and therefore it was a natural amalgamation of two well-established businesses. For many years it was rumoured that Theakstons took over Lightfoot because they had a better cricket team something that was deemed unacceptable to the brewers in Red Lane! Lightfoot has always been a popular seasonal ale in fact so much so that in 2010 it became a permanent addition to our range and is now available all year round. Lightfoot is a refreshing golden pale ale, brewed using prime English Barley and wheat, continental hops, our famous Masham yeast and water from the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Its light, fruity flavour makes it an ideal accompaniment to light curries, fish and salads and for a hot summer’s day perfect just on its own.

This India Pale Ale is brewed with finest English malts & a hearty dose of Vermont grown hops from our brick wall here at the Bobcat, as well as hops from New Haven, Ferrisburg, Lincoln & Addison. Hop varieties include: Zues, Centennial, Cascade & Goldings to balance with this full bodied ale.

This is an English Brown Ale. Brewed with Caramel, Chocolate, Black and 2 Row Malts it gives this ale a light chocolate and roasted flavor. Fuggle hops contribute a low hop bitterness and aroma. Great American Brewfest - Silver

Lilja’s Argosy India Pale Ale is hand-crafted using a variety of choice American two-row malted barley. The hop bill includes the traditional signature English ale hop, East Kent Golding, as well as imported Bavarian hops from the Hallertau hop-growing region of southern Germany. Employing the old German technique of first-wort hopping, the entire quantity of hops is added to the brew kettle just prior to heating. The wort is then boiled for ninety minutes with no additional hops being added to the kettle. After boiling the wort is force-cooled and fermented using a selected and pure strain of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, a top-fermenting brewing yeast.

If there were ever a beer that so quintessentially captures the spirit of the primordial past on planet Earth, it has to be the Hop Nest Monster. Bursting with the aroma of the American Amarillo hop, like the eruption of a great and tempestuous volcano, the Monster makes a bold and intimidating impression even before it reaches the palate. As an all-malt American IPA, over an entire pound per barrel of fragrant and floral Amarillo hops are added to the brew kettle during the final minutes of the boil. This process is known as late-kettle hopping.

A big, mouth-watering IPA, brimming with all the flavors and aromas of the new breed of hops coming from Australia and the Pacific Northwest. Limbo IPA is the first year-round Long Trail offering to be born out of our new Farmhouse Pilot Brewery. We had such great success with the IPAs coming out of our Pilot facility (in both our "Farmhouse Ales" - brewery only - and "Brown Bag" - regionally distributed, draught-only) that we decided to release Limbo IPA, in package and draught, year-round. When we launched Brown Bag in 2012, a web page dedicated to customer feedback was put online. After experiencing the first IPA in the series, one customer's email remarked, "You'd better not leave me sitting here in Limbo until you decide to brew some of your new IPA's year-round." And so became Limbo. At 80 IBU's, we knew this Australian & West Coast hopped IPA warranted packaging that was equally as bold, so we broke the Long Trail mold and went to some unchartered territory. The package graphics and tap handles are like nothing we have ever done before and are sure to turn some heads. Limbo six packs will have a special die-cut design to showcase the artwork. The bottle will feature unique crowns with artwork on both sides. This style of IPA is something we have heard our customers screaming for and our Brewers have hit this recipe out of the park.
