Mirror Pond Pale Ale

Deschutes Brewery’s most popular beer, Mirror Pond Pale Ale is a quintessential American pale ale with a definitive hop aroma and hop forward flavor. Mirror Pond Pale Ale has four different hop additions along with the all-important dry hopping. What separates this pale ale, though, is balance. Most folks just heap on the hops and call it a day. Deschutes, on the other hand, uses a deft touch of Crystal malts to offset the definitive Cascade hop profile resulting in a delicate malty sweetness. The proliferation of pale ales only proves how rare a truly great one is.

Mischief

Mischief is a Hoppy Belgian-Style Golden Strong Ale. This wickedly good golden ale is fiendishly dry-hopped with American hops to add a layer of complexity and mystery to its fruity, dry Belgian-style character. Citrus and resin diabolically combine with ripe melon, pear and slight peppery spice in a precariously effervescent mixture. Enjoy it, but you'll want to keep an eye out.

Miss Fancy's

Miss Fancy's Tripel is a strong Belgian golden ale. The term tripel is a style of beer that is meant to indicate strength of alcohol. This unique Belgian ale is rich in flavor and alcohol. The use of malts, traditional hops, a proprietary yeast blend and Belgian candi sugar in combination with our open fermentation process creates a very special beer named after a very special elephant. Miss Fancy?s Tripel is remarkably smooth and refreshing for such a high ABV beer. CAUTION! Miss Fancy?s Triple is brewed for humans but strong enough for elephants.

Missionary Blonde Ale

"I can remember when the air was clean and sex was dirty." -George Burns Sometimes what we want is a relaxing drinking experience, easy in its method but elegant in its simplicity. Enter Missionary Blonde Ale. We use only one malt (Pilsner) and one hop (Saaz) to make this simple, yet classically-styled beer. The use of ale yeast lends a subtle fruity character to the otherwise crisp, light finish. But the thing we like best about Missionary: Drinking it is so easy, anyone can do it.

A-It's got a nice dark tan texture to it. The description on the bottle says it all. S-It's got a coffee like smell to it. It smells pretty good. T- It tastes a tad like Bass with a hint of coffee to it. At least to me it had a coffee taste. It's got a nice even taste. It's not too strong and not too weak. It's a happy medium. M-It feels good when swallowing. It leaves a mild aftertaste but it's a good aftertaste. D-Well I drank the whole jug w/ no problem and enjoyed myself so that spoke for itself. Overall, I recommend this beer. If you find it, it's worth having. It goes well when watching a movie too.

Misty Mountain

Misty Mountain is a great example of the American-style India Pale Ale synonymous with Craft Beer. Originally brewed for sailors on shipping routes between England and India, British IPAs are known for their strong hop bitterness, which were added as a preservative for the long voyage. The American adaptation is decidedly stronger and offers a more robust hop bite. Back East IPA is no exception. This assertively hopped beer has a great hoppy aroma, crisp hop bite, and smooth medium body.

Mocha Porter

Dedicated to the chocolate lover in each of us. Mocha Porter was once known as New Porter, in honor of the town of Newport, Oregon and home of Rogue Ales. The January/February 1995 issue of Mens Health magazine features a bottle of Rogue New Porter (todays Mocha Porter) in the Fifth Annual Collection of Good Advise, Health News, Dire Warnings, Notable Folks and Unsolicited Opinion. New Porter is described as the Best New Beer for 1994! The caption reads: Oha bittersweet balance of malt and hops with a light cream finish. Mocha Porter is made from Northwest Harrington and Klages; 135-165, 95-115 and 70-80 Crystal; Beeston Chocolate Black Munich and Carastan malts. Perle and Centennial hops. Mochaccino Messiah

This is our attempt of substituting the morning mochaccino coffee with a beer. You get the nicely roasted chocolate malts, some creamy lactose for the milk and a shot of nutty espresso coffee in your mug. And then some alcohol, it seemed just as obvious as some vodka in a white russian. We do not recommend opting for this beer instead of coffee (all the time…)

Modernist

I have been getting hopelessly hooked of pump pulled drinking Bitter in pubs in the United Kingdom, so one day I decided to try my hand at this style so popular there, but at the same time so hard to achieve. You need to get a perfect Alchemy to make complex but elegant a beer of only 4.0% ABV. A research aimed to express the poetry that reveals the enchanting view of the English countryside, who was not the can forget. Simple, clean, essential. Is brassata using raw English. But where were you end up the real Bitter? Those of malti turned by hand, fragrant flavour and Rusk? Here it is finally: simple and lightweight but with personality and so many stories to tell, to cross seas and ports where I could finally recover. Do you remember the good times?

Mongo Double IPA

A tribute beer brewed to honor the memory of our fallen solider, Columbus (a brewery kitten we knicknamed Mongo), who used each of his 9 lives in a short – but brazen – 10 months on this planet. Let’s just say the little dude lived a hard life. Only, he wasn’t so little. In fact, he was the largest of five kittens born at the brewery in 2009. Mongo was so large in fact that his brothers and sisters kicked him out of the litter. I told you dude had it rough. Like most double IPA-style beers, the taste of hops that linger for days is at work in this beer. We like the way hops weave in and out of what little malt you can taste. Certainly, we brewed this as a hop-forward beer and think that after one sip you’ll agree with us.

Monk & Honey

This Belgian table beer was inspired by the sessionable trappist offering often referred to as a “single.” Thou not typically as lauded as the big Belgian tripels and quads, the single is a perfect beer for relaxing with friends or enjoying a meal. Similarly, our Monk & Honey is a beer meant to be enjoyed with good company and pairs great with food. Brewed with barley, Belgian yeast, and local honey this beer is simple yet complex. A light floral quality and hint of sweetness remain from the honey nicely complementing the simple grain bill and earthy/spicy Belgian yeast.
