Deep golden to light copper with an off white head that stands well. Malt is center stage in the aroma, malt sweetness, caramel, slight nutty, and a hint of chocolate and roast. A bit of fruitiness comes through in the end. The malt flavor mimics the aroma, bready, rich, caramel, nutty with a dry finish. This beer is smooth and easy drinking and at 3.9% you can enjoy more than one. Pares well with grilled foods and oily fish like salmon.
English milds are a staple in their home country. Very drinkable and they lend them selves well to an all day drinking beer. These beers are very good served from a firkin.
