OMB Copper is an authentic Düsseldorf style “Altbier.” While living in Germany during the 1990’s John fell in love with this amazing beer. There are few things more enjoyable than standing outside a historic brewpub on a warm summer evening in Düsseldorf’s Altstadt (“old city”), drinking a cold, refreshing Altbier as the sun sets over the Rhein river. Alt (pronounced ‘Aahlt’) literally means “old” in German, as in “old school.” In other words, it’s beer the old fashioned way. Technically, OMB Copper is an ale due to the type of yeast it’s made from (Obergärig or top fermenting yeast). However, a long time ago the folks in Düsseldorf learned that by lagering their Alt for several weeks after primary fermentation they could produce a full-flavored, yet smoother and more refreshing beer. OMB uses authentic ingredients in our Copper Altbier, including expensive (but worth it) noble Bavarian hops. We also adhere to traditional, time consuming, costly decoction brewing techniques to produce this copper hued, amazingly satisfying “lagered ale.”

Dark Strong Ale

A straw-coloured ale that is re-fermented in the bottle. Its dry and robust character charms devotees of both special and pilsner beers. Is this due to the 3 varieties of hops used? Or perhaps its delicate citrus aroma? One thing is for sure. Ommegang tastes like no other beer. It’s the ultimate thirst quencher.

Roasted barley, chocolate and crystal malts produce a robust flavor resembling roasted chocolate covered pretzels.

Oosik Amber Ale is a true German-style altbier, brewed with pale, Munich and crystal malts. Deep amber with copper highlights, Oosik sports a toasted and caramel malt profile, balanced by traditional noble hops. A special yeast strain ferments this ale at cooler lager temperatures, giving it a smooth malt character and a clean finish. Want to hang—so to speak—for a while? Oosik Amber Ale gives you hang time. A regional favorite that has hop heads rejoicing. A golden hue and thick white head invite the hop lover in all of us to enjoy floral notes infused with lemons and fresh cut grass. The taste is bitter as malts resonate through the abundant Cascade and Centennial hop character. The finish is reminiscent of bouquets, citrus groves, and peppered earth. Triumphantly back after being discontinued due to the 2007 and 2008 hop shortage.

This brown style Porter is the perfect finishing beer for all true connoisseurs. This porter has chocolate overtones with a slightly sweet flavor and a medium body allowing it to best be compared to a Mocha Coffee, and thus like coffee an easy drinking, rewarding, and satisfying beer that will allow the drinker to enjoy time spent with others or by themselves contemplating life’s concerns.

When something is optimal, it has everything it needs and nothing it doesn’t. Our witbier has the perfect amount of spices, wheat, and hops. Brewed in the traditional Belgian style, Optimal Wit is crisp and citrusy with layers of flavor that evolve in the glass. In addition to classic wit ingredients like Virginia-grown wheat, Spanish orange peels, and coriander, we brew Optimal Wit with Grains of Paradise, which adds a subtle peppery finish. This So-Cal take on a traditional witbier honors Coronado's main street, which is home to our brewpub and was once lined with orange trees. Bolstered by orange zest, coriander and orange blossom honey, its Belgium by way of Coronado. Expect a refreshing, light-bodied brew rife with citrus zing and a hint of earthy spice.

Our most popular beer. This light wheat ale starts out with hints of bright citrus and ends with a creamy vanilla finish. Served tall with a fresh orange slice, Orange Blossom is the perfect relief from the Arizona heat.

A serious IPA with tons of dry hop character bringing citrus and piney aromas on a beautiful malt backbone. Dry hopped twice for bold grapefruit and other citrus flavors that are contrasted by the malt sweetness.

Orchard White is an unfiltered, bottle conditioned Belgian-style witbier. This hazy, straw yellow beer is spiced with coriander, citrus peel and lavender added to the boil and whirlpool. A spicy, fruity yeast strain is used to add complexity, and rolled oats are added for a silky texture.

A delicate crystal wheat beer with a light, thirst-quenching body, balanced by the equally tempting aroma of organic acai, pomegranate, and other mixed berries.

Medium-bodied with an appealing amber hue, this is the First Ale of the Republic. Its organic pale, Munich, and crystal malts create a gentle sweet character that is difficult to resist. From organic Hallertauer hops come a zesty flavor and aroma that beautifully balance Organic Amber's malt profile. The result: Truly delicious ale that salutes organic farmers and all the goodness they bring to our tables.

Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

One of the few beers brewed in the world using 100% certified organic ingredients including the hops! A classic British style Extra Special Bitter that pours a brilliant amber with a nice off-white head. Organic Saphir hops lend a citrusy bite to the malty flavor to yield a very refreshing taste.

Organic India Dark Ale is brewed from barley malt and more aromatic hop types, which gives a fresh scent of hops and citrus. English chocolate malt beer is soft, and the rounds dark coloring comes from toasted wheat-and barley malt. Organic India Dark Ale has a nice and creamy foam, and the large amount of new Zealand hops gives a good, fresh bitterness. A beer with nice fill.

Our IPA is full bodied with a mild caramel malt flavor and liberal hop presence. A delight for all hop-heads. It is 6.4% alcohol by volume.

We set out first and foremost to make a great IPA, using only the finest organic ingredients. The aroma of our Organic IPA can be described as floral, and even earthy from the use of Palisade, Tettnang and Smaragd hops. Our Organic IPA contains a nice malt backbone that supports the generous amount of hops, and finishes with a bitterness and soft citrus character that discerning IPA drinkers will enjoy.
