Strong. Dark. Bracing. Just as we think the submariners aboard U-889 would have liked it. This Russian Imperial Stout is brewed with passion. We used over six hundred kilos of malt to brew it. We then boiled it for two hours to bring out the rich flavours demanded of the style and hopped it with just enough smooth bitterness to balance it’s richness. We then added some strong coffee from our friends at Just-Us!, and then we infused it with plump Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans for over two weeks.

Collaborating with De Molen Brewery in the “Green Heart” of The Netherlands, we have created a wild and inventive recipe that is a unique blend from the best of both worlds! A super-charged Saison I.P.A. is born, featuring kilos of American hops to add a crazy twist to this European-style ale. The fruity, spicy flavors of this malty Double Saison are uniquely and perfectly complimented by an abundance of early, middle, late and dry-hopping with the finest American hops.

Our Alt is a much stronger version of the traditional Dusseldorf Altbiers. An ancient style from the Rhineland, Altbiers are ales that were virtually wiped out by German lagers in the 1800’s. We use plenty of European hops and German pilsner malts to brew a remarkably clean beer. We then rest it in the cooler for two months to achieve the mellow finish that is the Überalt’s trademark.

Previously 'Volume 6,' This is one of our most complex and flavorful versions of our 10% ABV black wheat series. To compliment the dark malt base, we added Colectivo Coffee beans, cocoa nibs and vanilla. To finish, we aged the beer on maple wood staves. The aroma greets you with a mix of vanilla, coffee and maple candy. As you take your first sip, coffee carries through first with the classic combination of vanilla and chocolate right on its heels. These flavors then give way to the distinct taste of maple that lingers on the palette, until you look outside at the snow and decide you need another sip.

Behold the subtle power of a beer whose simplicity of elements belies its complex spirit. Pilsener malt, noble Hallertau hops, lager yeast, and deep well water. By scaling up these simple ingredients we’ve turned the German pilsener "imperial" and made one of the world’s most refreshing styles of beer bigger, rounder and even more enjoyable.

A massively hopped Imperial IPA brewed to celebrate Valley Brews 10th anniversary. 1 pound of hops were added every 10 minutes during a 100 minute boil, a total of 10 different boiling hops. 4 different fresh hops were used in the hopback and then the beer was passed through a chamber containing 10 lbs of fresh hops on the way from the serving tanks to the bar taps. Hopperiffic.

Pour a glass or drink straight from the bottle, it’s meant to be consumed wisely with friends between summer solstice and autumnal equniox.

What burgeoning raft brewery would be complete without the Ubiquitous Oake Ale? not us! We’ve loaded this beer with Pacific Northwest hops to bring out bold citrus flavors with a hint of pine. A combination of two row, special roast, and wheat give a backing malt presence. What else is there to say? It’s pale. It’s an Ale. It is the Ubiquitous Pale Ale.
