Unibroue 10 has a fruity and spicy nose with a golden color.

Ever-changing with every brew, our house Pale Ale is a truly evolutionary beer. With the brewery’s address as its namesake, the “56″ provides an artisanal canvas for Humulus lupulus, a.k.a hops. Each time we head to the kettles we utilize a different blend of our favorite female flower clusters to create a whole new taste. Whether you’re experiencing flavors of pine from the American Northwest, spice from Eastern Europe, or a barrage of lychee and asian pear from the Pacific Rim, this “worldly” beer has a way of making you feel right at home.

Dortmunder style lager with full body and deep golden color. Brewed using four specialty malts with moderate hopping for a smooth clean flavor and aroma.

A translucent amber-red ale with a moderately high IBU of 36. Bittering hops include Kent Golding and Cascade. A generous amount of Kent Golding is used in the dry hopping to further enhance the aroma.

This big fruity Quad is brewed with copious amounts of malt, a heavy dose of raw cane sugar and some pomegranate added in secondary. The rich stone fruit flavors produced by the yeast balance well with the subtle alcohol heat and slightly tart finish from the pomegranate.

Our Sour Ale Program at Upland has been an adventure into the unknown from the beginning. We are proud to share the next leg of our journey with you. The Fresh Oak Brett Project was begun to explore not only the flavors of fresh oak barrels, but to also experiment with available strains of wild yeasts, or brettanomyces, to see what flavors the develop during fermentation. This bottle holds the results of a mixed fermentation with brett, Claussenii, Bruxellensis, and Lambicus inside of a fresh Minnesota and Missouri White Oak Barrel.

A collaboration by females all over the world in the beer industry in celebration of "International Women's Day!" The Seattle Chapter of the Pink Boots Society brewed their own versions of the "Unite Red Ale" at Hale's, Elysian, Fremont and Pike. Other Washington brewers were hosted at Dick's, and Birdsview. A portion of all sales will go to the Pink Boots Society to help further the education and careers of women. Each brew will be unique, but each were brewed using the same parameters including fitting the red ale style with an ABV of 4.6%, an IBU of 50, and using Willamette Hops. The Hale's version of the "Unite Red Ale" was split into two batches. Both batches were brewed with 2-row, C120, Vienna, Munich, Red X, and a small amount of Carafa III for color, with WIllamette hops used for aroma and Bravo for a stronger hop flavor. For some fun variety, one batch was fermented with house ale yeast and the other batch was fermented with Pilsner yeast.

Brewed with the participation of many people from the LA beer community, this beer is the official beer of LA Beer Week. The name “Unity” which represents the collaborative efforts in creating this beer always remains the same, but each year a different style of beer is chosen.
