Brewed with an abundance of chocolate malts, this stout gets it's robust flavor from deeply roasted barley and a touch of cacao nibs.

Umeboshi, our Gose, uses ingredients native to the land of the rising sun to imbue this unique historical German style with Far East flair. It is medium-bodied and pale yellow in color with a salty flavor and aroma from the addition of Japanese Umeboshi plums, accented by subtle sour, fruit, and bread-like notes; and hints of mint from Japanese Shiso leaves used in place of the traditional coriander. Umeboshi; one sip and you’ll agree: it’s worth its salt.

The first offering in the Woodsman Series, Ümlaut Böktoberfest is a dark, luscious Bavarian-style lager beer that spent six weeks lagering in oak barrels at 35 degrees fahrenheit. It is a twisted version of the classic German Märzen/Oktoberfest beer popular throughout the autumn season. The Strangeways treatment is a strong lager that boasts a malty, earthy sweetness and includes a subtle touch of smoked malts. German Opal and Smaragd hops round out the balance and lend just the right touch of herbal and floral notes to the flavor and aroma. The oak barrels utilized initially housed Rebel Yell bourbon, and then more recently held a Trump Winery product called Cru, which is a unique fortified white port-style wine with an 18% abv. These two previous barrel inhabitants set the stage for this beer to dazzle and shine during its debut performance. As well as add a dynamic complexity balanced with subtle nuances to make you want to celebrate Oktoberfest every day with a Maß of Ümlaut Böktoberfest. O'zapft is! Prost!

Between past and future, but slightly to the left of now, was another place entirely: The place of Un Natural Thirst. Brewed for the revelations of spring and the pith of the thawing of the earth, this medium-bodied amber ale had a crisp, refreshing finish. A single run, inspired by the Tale of the Middle Man, a most unusual installation of interactive exploration once shown at the Exquisite Corpse Art Gallery in Burlington, VT.

This straw colored ale is all about the fragrant, pungent and citrusy American hops. A true West Coast IPA, balanced be damned!

A tribute to one of the true American beer styles, utilizing the best of both modern and classic techniques and ingredients. Zingiber Cream Ale is a 50/50 hybrid of ale and lager, brewed identically and fermented separately utilizing unique yeast strains, then blended after fermentation.

This lightly-bodied blonde ale starts with a fresh noble hop aroma and a hint of bready malt in the background, and it’s the light-to-medium bodied ale with a juicy hop character that will have you warming up to it.

The Uncle Bob Bitter is inspired by the rich, flavorful ales of British pubs. We use floor malted English barley and a blend of British hops to create a balance between a soft malt presence and floral hop notes. It has a toasty malt character but is still smooth on the palette. At only 4.5% ABV and purposefully lightly carbonated in the bottle it is the perfect session beer. Can't get to the pub? A highly quaffable, smooth and malty long aged German style dark beer.

Jacob Spears, our 6th Great Grand Uncle, is credited as the first distiller to label his whiskey “Bourbon.” He built his distillery in Bourbon County Kentucky in 1790 — 203 years before we began brewing. While obviously a bit too late to produce Uncle Jacob’s wash, we’ve instead created something far more complex. In his honor, we present this robust, silky smooth, full-bodied and altogether extremely American rendition of an Imperial Stout aged for 6 months in the very finest Bourbon barrels. This explains a lot about our penchant for big brews! It’s in our blood!

A smooth, well rounded stout. The aroma gives off a subtle coffee and chocolate nose which balance perfectly. The flavor of chocolate carries into the taste and balances impeccably with the bitterness from the Herkules hops!

Barrel aged sour pale ale.

A medium bodied, malty ale with notes of roasted barley and carmel. At 5% abv, it makes a good session beer.

Full and creamy on the tongue with no ‘bite’ as the name might suggest, this classic British ale is deep golden in color and mild in character. It’s a ‘session’ beer that satisfies.
