In case you’re one of the 3 people that haven’t figured it out yet, we at Iron Fist are fans of everything unfettered by and silly notions of "tradition". So our latest insurrection is a two-for. We brewed a huge Belgian style Trippel and hopped the (expletive deleted) out of it. Being the counterculturalists that we are, we decisively chose to use the finest imported European hops we could get our hands on rather than the ubiquitous West Coast style varieties. We even threw in some varieties so new they still have that new hop smell. A robust malt character helps balance this truly one-of-a-kind brew. Brewed for KnB Wine Cellars 3rd Anniversary.

The summer offering of our esteemed Ignition Series, Uproar Imperial Red is a complex, ruby-hued ale. Punctuated with notes of citrus and herbs, Uproar has a velvet texture with pleasing hints of roasty chocolate.

Upstream is an amber-colored beer that derives its flavor from American base and color malts and its flavor is offset by the use of Northern Brewer hops. In the tradition of San Francisco lagers, the hops lend a resinous woody character that adds to a clean hoppy finish.

A rich, full bodied stout that delivers a dark roasted and chocolate taste that would make any coffee drinker smile. Heaps of small-batch roasted Brazilian coffee from Uptown Coffee Roasters lead the charge in this rich, creamy coffee milk stout. The milk sugar we add gives it plenty of sweetness but it’s balanced by floral, earthy and mildly bitter Willamette hops so you won’t have too much sugar in your coffee. If you’re looking for something sweet and chocolatey to warm you up on a cold NYC winter night look no further.

The Magician

This American IPA is light in body but with a huge floral aroma. The brewers used several varieties of hops with included Citra, Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook, and Cascade creating 68 IBUs “and proud we are of them all”.

Some refer to the Dunkel style as the original bier of Munich and its surrounding villages (Dörfer). This everyday bier ranges in color and sweetness depending on the amount of Munich and roasted malts used. The sweetness of the malt is then balanced by the use of another Bavarian friend…the Hallertau hop…in this specific case, Hersbrucker, grown near Wolnzach, Hallertau.

An Australian style lager, hopped twice. Use classic Australian Super Pride hops in the kettle, US Nugget hops for bitterness and the German Perle hop for a fruity and spicy aroma.

Notes of peach, mango, & passion fruit, balanced by a crisp, malt backbone. Dank, bitter, tasty!

This tasty English pale ale gets its charm from Imported Maris Otter Pale Malt, East Kent goldings and a few secret ingredients to keep our competitiors guessing. Styled after a classic English Bitter, Urban Wilderness is supremely balanced, smooth and easy to drink.
