For this new year-round release, we dosed the beer with colorful Nugget, Goldings and Cascade hops, and then turned around and dry-hopped it again with Cascade, lending bright grapefruit and subtle herbal notes to the wash of bready-sweet malts; additions of oats adds a layer of smoothness to the mouthfeel. Finally, we used a special enzyme during the brewing process, which breaks down the gluten. The result is super sessionable, flavorful golden ale that starts sweet and finishes crisp. Raspberry wheat beers mean a lot to me. When big events happen, I brew this style of beer to celebrate. When I got married in 1991 I brewed one. When I took over as brewmaster of Mill Street in 2007 I brewed another one. For Canada’s 150th birthday this year, I have designed Red Ensign. It is named after the original flag of Canada at the time of Confederation and nothing could be more emotive with it comes to the birth of our nation than our flag. This beer is made with malt from the Prairies, hops from Ontario, and raspberries from BC so it represents our country from many points of view.

Tiny Horse Pilsner is named after the tiny model horses on Portland’s sidewalks tethered to old metal horse rings. But don’t let the name fool you, Tiny Horse is big on drinkability and flavor. We start with locally- sourced pilsner malt with just a touch of Vienna malt to give it that signature crisp, clean finish. We then add a variety of Willamette Valley hops to give this brew the perfect balance of bitterness and floral aroma.

Lightly hopped American wheat. Citra hops are used in whirlpool giving it citrus and fruit aroma.

Refreshing sessionable blonde ale is the perfect combination of malty sweetness and danky American hops that finishes with a delightful bready note.

Black Diamond took a traditional stout and formed it into Breakfast! The use of cacao nibs and vanilla beans will give the beer a deep chocolate flavor. They used lactose to add a sweet creamy mouthfeel and local cold pressed coffee to achieve the mocha status. With a low ABV you can drink this beer for breakfast or dessert!

Our line of sessionable Belgian-style sour ales are brewed utilizing a unique 24-hour warm souring technique using lactobacillus in the wort. We ferment with a Belgian yeast strain famous for fruity flavors and a dry finish, making it the perfect complement to fruit.
