NW Red Ale

Our brewer Will described this as “a light amber ale with a malty backbone and the classic NW hop profile.” We stopped listening after malty backbone. Two words that shouldn’t go together, right? (Wait, Milk Duds kind of have a malty backbone!) It turns out it just means that the delicious malty goodness comes through, supporting the dry hoppiness of the Willamette hops.

O'Doul's Amber

O’Doul’s has a mild, sweet taste with a slightly dry finish. O’Doul’s Amber has a rich, slightly sweet taste with flavorful hop finish. O’Doul’s and O’Doul’s Amber are brewed as traditional premium beers – fermented and aged to full maturity. The alcohol is then removed through the use of low temperature, low-pressure distillation. This extremely gentle process allows the alcohol to be removed without heating or cooking the beer, which retains the full, rich and delicate flavor and balance of our non-alcohol brews.

Oswald IPA

We took our biggest, most beast-like IPA and christened it Oswald after a man way ahead of his time. Governor Oswald West came up with the brilliant idea to protect Oregon’s coastline from development. Way back in 1913. See what we mean about him? And like any politician, frankly, OIPA has that familiar bitter bite.

Pontoon Pale Ale

Pale in color with crystal clarity, this refreshing summer beer brings out the best in pale ale. Dry on the finish with a noticeable hop presence on the nose thanks to the generous amount of Amarillo in the dry hop. The Mandarina Bavaria hops bring out a fruity, tangerine and deep citrus flavor. It’s all about the balance here. It’s a great beer to drink on the boat or pontoon this summer.

Red Chaos

Late in the summer of 2015 we were lucky enough to travel out to Hotchkiss, Colorado in order to work directly with a fruit farmer. This farmer grew some of the juiciest, most delicious cherries we’ve ever tried. Our golden sour base beer was aged on over two pounds of these tart Montmorency cherries per gallon of beer. The resulting beer is both wonderful and subtle; another example of the restraint and balance our head brewer is able to achieve in our beers. Medium acidity, with aroma and flavor not unlike a fresh cherry pie.

The result, Red Hop Mess — the elusive elixir — a stroke of pure genius with just the right amount of madness.

An adorable fruit nestling in its own little sleeping bag peel. So cute and easy, it’s always been the petite sidekick of the almighty orange. We say NO MORE! The People's Pale Ale - An Oregon Ale

We think of this American Pale Ale as the “Miss Oregon” of the Pale Ale panoply: Grain and hops are 100% Oregon-grown; it’s even malted in Baker City. It, too, yearns for sun. Hence the citrusy yet slightly bitter balance of flavors.

Train Hopper Pale Ale

Before she called Avondale home, our darling Miss Fancy the elephant was a circus marvel traveling by train from city to city. When the movement of the train failed to rock her to sleep, she often indulged in ales to calm her nerves and pass the time. Bandwagon New England IPA

Bandwagon: a current or fashionable trend (Merriem-Webster online dictionary) -- New England IPA: a current IPA style trend Jumping on the bandwagon is oftentimes seen as a negative thing. Sometimes, though, it can be fun to ride a trend for a minute. Sometimes those trends become more than trends and transcend to a standard. Think about black IPAs five years ago. Is that what the New England IPA will become? Who knows? What we do know is this: Our Bandwagon New England IPA is loaded up with immense dry hop additions including Amarillo, Crystal, CTZ, El Dorado, Nugget, and Waimea hops. Hop aroma like you wouldn't believe! Juicy citrus character for days. The addition of torrified wheat and naked oats provide the deep haze that is a signature character of the New England IPA style. So, join the parade and jump on board with a Bandwagon New England IPA. It may not last forever, so enjoy while it's here.
