Fun Tina is an American Wheat Ale brewed with orange zest, lemon zest, and coriander. Golden in color and medium-bodied, Fun Tina has light and inviting aromas of wheat, coriander, and citrus. The subtle flavors of citrus and coriander combine for a refreshing beer with a clean finish.

Hyperion Bourbon Bellaire Brown with coffee is Short’s Flagship Brown Ale, Bellaire Brown, fermented with Ethiopian Hambela Estate coffee from Hyperion Coffee Co. in Ypsilanti, MI and aged for 15 months in Old Forester bourbon barrels. Hyperion Bourbon Bellaire Brown pours a dark brown color with a thick, off-white head and has aromas and flavors of vanilla, oak, chocolate, bourbon, and a touch of coffee. A silky mouth feel and smooth finish is complemented by a slight warming of the tongue.

Normally, the threat of a Knuckle Sammich is a bad thing. Not anymore! Our Knuckle Sammich IPA is a brash, full frontal assault upon your delicate little tastebuds! The brewers at Wort Hog needed a firm malt foundation to ballast the onslaught of hops that make up this “full sprint, face plant into a hop yard” of a beer. So, we started off with a blend of Pilsen and Pale Ale base malts and add to it some Wheat, Carastan and Munich malts. But, let’s be honest. As far as this beer goes…Malt, shmalt! The star of THIS show is the HOPS. Those glorious green flavor grenades! We utilize a blend of 7 American hops from the Pacific Northwest including Chinook, Citra, Falconer’s Flight 7 C’s, Centennial, Zeus, Cascade and ElDorado. To the tune of over 2 pounds per barrel! “Are you SERIOUS?” you ask. Well hells yeah we’re serious!!! These bitter hop overloards command you to bow down at the altar of aroma! And you will obey. YOU. WILL. OBEY! Knuckle Sammich IPA is a tongue punch! Knuckle Sammich is what Willis was talkin’ ‘bout! Knuckle Sammich goes to 11. This-a-here IPA will punch you right in the mouth… with hops! And you’ll come back for more. You know you will!

Maiden is all about our first voyage, it was the first batch of beer brewed in our brewery and has been the first brew of each calendar year since then. Our goal is to create something that with each vintage evokes the same spirit of adventure, sense of the unknown and enjoyment of the journey. We take a carefully crafted American Hoppy Barley Wine and then age it in various barrels for the year, with the goal of bringing them together in a harmonious blend prior to bottling. This journey means that each individual barrel will impart different characteristics on the beer, sometimes from the quality and type of wood used, but more potent the liquid stored in it previously. Maiden releases are always regarded for their depth of flavour and complexity of barrel notes. This year's blend consists of 20% Fresh Maiden, 10% Armagnac, 10% Banyuls, 20% Heaven Hill, 30% Red Wine and 10% Rum (in ex-Jack Daniels barrels). This year’s beer pours a deep ruby colour and has a vinous aroma with hints of caramel and liquorice. It’s a rich experience when drinking, with toffee, fig roll sweetness, red berries and a well-rounded oak character bringing everything together. We love it! As always with Maiden, we think it tastes great now, and it's already spent a lot of time maturing in barrels. But it will also continue to age nicely. We've supplied no best before date, only a 'bottled on' - so drink at your leisure or save for a special occasion.

Pumpkin Pie de Brettaville is a magical mix of barrel- aging and the rich flavors of autumn. We start with heirloom pumpkins from Bodega Bay and roast them whole to create a deep sugary caramelization. We add the pumpkins to a bright brettanomyces-fermented beer, and then age it in oak casks with a selection of our favorite pumpkin pie spices; whole vanilla beans, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Finally we blend the barrels back together to create a cohesive whole with rich layers of oak, spice and caramelized pumpkin. Pair this complex sipper alongside autumn campfires, turning leaves and one extra slice of mom’s Thanksgiving pie.
