We made a double IPA with our friends at Het Uiltje. The plan was a simple one; chuck in a silly and irresponsible amount of hops, keep the malt and body light and what could go wrong? Mosaic, citra, Simcoe and chinook all contribute to a massive piney, resinous hit followed by tropical fruit and warming alcohol.

The next beer in our cocktail inspired ‘Vice’ series is a pineapple, lime and mint Berliner Weiss in collaboration with Stillwater Artisanal. Kettle soured and then flavoured with multiple doses of pineapple and lime throughout the brew along with over 10kg of fresh mint leaves. Tropically aromatic, with a citrus tang and super refreshing mint finish.

In the world of beer there are far too many components that are underrated and undervalued; so we opted to take our two favorite victims of this to create what we think is an exciting take on an exquisite classic. The result is Shanty Town Chinook Brown. Putting our spin on the classic American Brown Ale we built ours with an engine powered by chocolate malts that provide a loud purr of cocoa powder and baker’s chocolate, followed by a slow ride of doughy malt flavors. To up the octane we brewed this beer solely with the classic West Coast hop Chinook, firing off resinous notes of pine needles with a subtle hints of grapefruit. To keep everything in balance there is an uncharacteristic amount of oats to give a nice chewy body and a solid frame for the Chinook's powertrain to do what it does best. Thought Brown Ale is just a style that is imported from England in a clear bottle and tastes like 10 yards of manure filtered through burnt hair? Give Shanty Town a shot and open your palate to what a fantastic style it can be.

A light bodied, fruity pale ale with the best of New Zealand and American hops. Layered and straight forward, intense and chill, punchy and soft. All at the same time, like it should be. To the future!

Northeast Style Pale Ale

Style: Sour-Mashed Pale Ale w/ Elderflowers Malts: Pilsner Malt, Melanoidin, Cara Crystal, Unmalted Wheat Hops: Amarillo, Motueka Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Open again. Prepare your tastebuds for something really satisfying. Open the can. Feel how the bright but subtle elderflower notes mixed with fresh and lemony hops finds way to your nose. On your tongue, sour crispy liquid is doing a dance off with the less aggressive bitterness. … Hope you bought more than one of these.

This is a crisp, refreshing strong pale ale with big American ho aroma. All local Michigan hops were used (MI Heritage, MI Cascade, MI Copper) balanced with wheat for a smooth body and huge juicy hop aromas.

This is a powerhouse of a beer. Dense like cloudy apple juice you know this is going to smack you hard with massive slugs of rich, ripe mango and pineapple on the nose and maybe just a hint of shortcrust swaggering around in the background. It weighs in heavy on the palate courtesy of plenty of wheat and oats. Stacks more sticky mango then orchard fruits, apple and crunchy pear finishing with a builders tea like bitterness to pick you up, dust you off and get you ready for another round.

True to form, Luponic Distortion Revolution No. 007 represents a fresh iteration of Luponic Distortion led by three hop varieties from Australia.

The pantry is a farmhouse staple and as two of Connecticut's first farmhouse breweries, we proudly pulled from our respective pantries of CT grown ingredients to bring this beer to life. Barley grown in Farmington (and malted at Valley Malt) was used alongside aged hops grown at Kent Falls / Camps Road Farm. Each of our own farmhouse cultures came to the party and over 200 lbs. of St. Croix grape must (skins and juice) from the family vineyard here on Music Vale Road was added mid-fermentation.

Our N.E. Pale Ale Series, Recurring Dreams is an ever changing and evolving beer. Double dry-hopped for a burst of tropical aromatics, complimented by a lush, velvety mouthfeel and refreshingly palatable finish.

An aromatic blend of European apples infused with cinnamon and vanilla, Rekorderlig Spiced Apple Hard Cider can be enjoyed hot with a slice of orange or cold over ice.
