Aged for close to 8 months, this beer has taken on the flavor of the wood and the spirit and turned into smoothing new and exciting. We did not add anything to the beer; Just Smoked Porter and freshly emptied Apple Brandy Barrels. The beer does have some acidity to it, but it is very faint and adds to the complexity of the beer. Bottle conditioned, so it will age, but we recommend you store it cool/cold if you plan on aging it for longer periods of time.

This pale chartreuse colored easy drinking session mead (9.33% ABV) has aromas of star fruit and apples. Flavors of Riesling wine and bright white fruits. This is a stunning-ly drinkable mead.

Niwot shrub roses are prolific producers of fragrant blossoms. Early in June and just after sunrise, Medovina hand picks select rose petals, then steeps them carefully to express their delicate aromas. Honey is added to the rose water, and the magic begins. The bouquet and color of this mead unmistakably and delicately capture the essence of the wild rose.

SPECIAL RESERVE - This full bodied sack cyser was made with apples and crabapples grown in Alaska, a hint of dates and raisins, and aged in bourbon casks for 6 months. At 16% abv it is brimming with apple and honey flavor. Although technically a sweet cyser the sweetness is offset by the tartness of the apples and the bourbon and oak add layers of complexity.
