All Mountain

Fresh mint, chocolate, oats, and lactose: what a combination!! This medium bodied milk stout gets a good amount of oats in the mash and lactose in the boil to add creaminess to this stout. Fresh mint is also added into the boil to give zip to the All Mountain. Finally, we add Videri cocoa nibs post fermentation to round out this beauty, which might just transport you to the Andes!

All Rise Session Pale Ale

This is the first beer ever brewed at our Oakland Avenue Brewpub location. A classic pale ale brewed with a combination of hops to give it a hint of pine and citrus, it is well-balanced with a malty backbone. Before we did anything else at our new location, we thought it fitting to make a beer that would stand the test of time. In a courtroom, before anything happens, the bailiff demands that “All Rise.” With that simple statement, it’s accurate to say that the trial, and Legal Remedy Brewing, are now in session.

All Saints Barleywine

This Classic English Style Barley Wine is a strong ale, literally meaning wine from beer. It was once the strongest beer a brewer could make. This beer is big on malt, big on hops, and big on alcohol content. It can be enjoyed now and is also designed to age. Traditional Barley Wines are at their best between four months and six years. Ours is no exception.

All Together Now

Sitting down to discuss brewing a lighter beer style, appropriate for summer, Mark Hunger and Luther Paul, head brewers for Great Lakes and Lakefront, respectively, talked about brewing a hoppy wheat ale. The two brewers settled on a hopfenweizen, a style that emerged within the last decade, and melds American brewers’ skillful use of hops with the centuries-old German hefeweizen tradition. The collaborative brew’s apricot and orange aromas come from a healthy dose of U.S. grown hops, including the experimental Yellow Sub hop blend that Great Lakes contributed to the mix.

Alley-Ooop!

A smooth and easy drinking beer, sort of a cross between our Export and the Naughty Nurse. Very similar to an Octoberfest. It is sweet and carmel-like due to the use of German malt and hops, and an extended cold lagering, or aging, period. Brewed for the 2015 AAC Basketball Tournament, which is being held at the XL Center March 12-15. Alley-oop is a football and basketball term that generally means a high arching pass. In basketball, another player (hopefully on the same team) catches the ball in mid air and dunks it into the basket. The name is said to derive from the French expression “Allez! Hop!” (Go! Jump!), which circus performers would yell just before taking off on the high wire trapeze.

Allie's Double Chocolate Porter

Frederick Alvin Briggs, JR. opened Allie’s Donuts in the summer of 1968. For over 40 years, his family has worked passionately to maintain the legacy that ‘Allie’ built in the early mornings back in the 1960’s & 70’s. With neighborliness and determination, Allie’s has succeeded in keeping the shop as ‘Old Fashioned’ as the donuts, each and every day. Nothing beats an Allie’s Donut in the morning, or any other time, which is why many Rhode Islanders consider a trip to Allie’s a family tradition. Narragansett Beer has been Made on Honor since 1890, and we’re proud to collaborate with local folks who embody that spirit of craftsmanship… especially if there’s a chance for free donuts. So here’s to grabbing a dozen for the next family trip, and here’s to the rich deliciousness of Allie’s Double Chocolate Porter!

Allies Win The War!

In a surprising turn of events, rival superpowers have joined forces to bring a beer of might to the world. According to top-secret documents, recently unclassified, brewmasters for 21st Amendment in California and Ninkasi in Oregon began their brewing careers together many years ago. The two leaders reunited recently at a secret camp in the Sierras to devise their master plan. “We are more alike than we are different,” said 21st Amendment’s Shaun O’Sullivan. “We must unite in our common cause,” added Ninkasi’s Jamie Floyd. The resulting collaboration, an ale brewed with California dates, an aggressive arsenal of all-Northwest hops and an unmistakable aroma of victory, deals a unified blow to unoriginal beers everywhere. ALLIES WIN THE WAR! is 21st Amendment Brewery's first ever collaboration beer, a traditional English-style Strong ale aged on native California dates and dry hopped with all-Northwest aroma hops. This Strong Ale has caramel, toffee, plum, fig and date in a wallop rich malt flavor with a robust hop flavor and balancing this full flavored treat. Citrus, pine and earthy describe the hop nose that comes from a huge dry hop of the Falconer’s Flight Hop Blend. The beer is also aged on Real California Dates imparting even more natural fruit flavor and deepening the Mahogany hue of this delicious collaboration.

Sit back during Colorado’s other seasons and enjoy the anticipation of summer days on their way with our American version of an English-style Summer Ale. Bridging the gap between the warm, rich ales of winter and the light and refreshing brews of summer, Almost-Summer Ale is a delicious balance of biscuity-malt flavor and light citrus hop finish, with a slightly bigger body and smoother mouth feel than a traditional summer ale. Note the sunny golden hue, take a moment to enjoy the balanced aromas of both citrusy hops and malts. Perfect for enjoying the Colorado days where chilly mornings turn into sunny afternoons. Cheers!
