Aorta Ale is a Double Red Ale with bold flavors of Cascade hops and sweet malt, and a dark reddish-brown color. Subtle aromas of candy, brown sugar, and toasted malt are released from the depths of this full-bodied beast. Raisins, figs, and burnt caramel are among the sweeter and more forward flavors found in Aorta Ale. This brew finishes with a roasted cocoa like bitterness which is magnified by the high alpha hops.

Our American Pressed Apple (APA) is a hard cider reminiscent of a fine white wine; this Hopped Cider is a perfect fusion of acidity, sweetness and floral hop flavor. The IPA drinkers hard cider.

Not all simians were able to control the magnitude of destruction they inflicted upon this once great planet. The ever increasing terrors of man quickly turned into global devastation on an epic scale. Apes were forced from their natural habitats, sequestered on urban streets that lay under ruins from the carnage, and left to forage for basic life-giving necessities. Their immune systems, superior to man's, still required the use of gas masks for survival, while humans barely clung to life. Relegated to roaming the harsh terrain in search of a mortal's cure, this series of barrel aged imperial stouts represent the last hope for mankind's resurgence, as we lay on the brink of Ape Armageddon.

Apeiron has an abundance of hops and the IBU’s are prominent; but we do not use the traditional hops which portray a heavy pine type character but prefer hopping with types that provide the IBU’s but not the harsh character that is normally attributed to Imperial type IPA’s. Appearance – Deep golden color with a nice head that lingers in the glass. Aroma – Malt combined with assorted aromas of different citrus including grapefruit, orange, lemon and others. There is a faint hay character as well. Flavors – Citrus, with some bitterness and nice spice character. Mouthfeel – Medium body Finish – Slightly bitter and spicy. The overall character of this beer hides the alcohol content very well and is an easy drinking beer.

Apex: The Highest point, the culmination or climax. In racing, the apex of a turn is approached differently as conditions dictate, but always with a forward looking mindset. This beer is a culmination of years of brewing and drinking hop forward IPAs. We reserve the right to move forward, to advance the style to the next Apex.

Our Amber is a medium-bodied American-style amber ale. The beer is a perfect presentation of toasted malt that is supported by a subtle hop character. This beer pairs well with transitional seasons when we're looking for something less intense but not too light, offering light roasty and caramel flavors. A very drinkable beer, weighing in at a reasonable 6.6% ABV, this American Amber Ale is a classic favorite.

Aphrodisiac Ale is a golden ale originating from the area of present-day Scotland, with the addition of local organic honey, fresh ginger, and dried lavender tips. The art of blending herbs into beer dates back to the Picts. The Picts would drink herb-infused beer before going into battle. Other times they would drink it to boost their libido.

In Greek mythology, Aphrodite rises from the foam of the waves of the sea, enchanting all who see her, and inciting thoughts of love and lust where ever she goes. We could hardly say it more eloquently. Our Limited Edition Aphrodite Ale is ethereal, intriguing and mysterious – as the Goddess Aphrodite must have been. Aphrodite has champagne-like carbonation, much as the foam of the waves of the sea. Plus enchanting flavors with whispers of raspberry and pear, and hints of funk and tartness created by the Brett yeast. The refreshing dryness comes from the unusual combination of Ommegang and Brett yeasts, and incites feelings of love and thirst, though we don’t know about lust. Grains of paradise are infused into the nectar, and when poured Aphrodite is crowned with a luxuriously shimmering rose-pink head.

Apis IV is a Dark Belgian-Style Ale brewed in the Trappist tradition. With a touch of locally sourced honey, the name Apis is a nod to the hardworking genus of honeybee. Boasting notes of plum, fig and molasses, Apis IV has a medium to heavy mouthfeel and finishes with subtle floral hops.

This complex, double India Pale Ale has an intense citrus and floral hop aroma balanced by a velvety malt body which has been augmented with lactose milk sugar. With this different take on an IPA we have brewed an ale that is both pleasing to drink and, once again, “not normal.” Cheers!

Dead Reckoning doesn’t disappoint, it’s made for sipping and has pronounced dark chocolate and coffee flavors that immediately fill your palate. As that first wave of flavors pass, you’ll pick up some licorice and smoke flavors that add to the complexity. Traditional noble hops help balance the substantial body and residual sweetness.
