Hoop & Stave No. 5 is a Doppelbock aged over one year in Rye Whiskey Barrels. This deep hued ale with ruby highlights has beautiful color and slight chocolate-like aroma. This German Style Lager has rich and malty flavors commonly found in Doppelbocks, but the whiskey barrels enhance dark fruit characteristics such as figs, cherries and plums.

There are three different recognized styles of Bitter Ale: Ordinary Bitter, Best Bitter & Extra Special Bitter (ESB). The only noticeable difference in these styles is the level of Hop presence. Buckin' Bitter is an Ordinary Style bitter. Brewed with crystal and caramel malted barley this beer features moderate sweetness and a noticeable hop character. Slightly bitter with a bit of floral hop aroma this is a good introduction to the more robust English ale styles we brew.

Bucking Bock - it's a traditional German Spring Bock Beer - golden in color and mildly hopped. Kick'n in at 7.5% alcohol, it has a smooth malty character that will surely thaw you out after a long cold winter. Spring is here and so is Rahr's Bucking Bock!

This offering is inspired by the German Oktoberfest and brewed with Andechs lager yeast. This proves to be an interesting combination of rich Germany malt character with a raw American spin.

Bucktricutioner is a light bodied Berliner Weisse brewed with 50% malted wheat, strawberries, and limes. This beer is pink in color with notable aromas of wheat and yeast esters that combine with some subtle citrus scents, creating a pleasantly refreshing nose. Delicate grain flavors give way to bright, tart lemon – lime qualities and sweet fruit before slightly drying the palate for an over all crisp and clean finish.

Our Honey Harvest is named for a Brothersvalley miracle from 1859. June 4th a heavy frost destroyed crops & almost all vegetation in the county. No excess grain could be found in the surrounding areas. As luck would have it, the buckwheat crop hadn't been sowed yet, so enough was planted to sustain everyone through the long winter. We infuse local wildflower & buckwheat blossom honey to enhance the flavor that is as smooth as fresh milk, crisp as a mountain morning & finishes like a mountain valley sunset.

Unfermented wort was racked directly into oak barrels and inoculated with souring bacteria. From there, it spent months aging in our barrel room before being blended with live kombucha at bottling. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, and 100% naturally carbonated.

I've Got the Brews!!! No ordinary beer can can represent the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Blues Legend, Buddy Guy. This Belgian Style Witbier is as classy and quenching as Buddy's talent! Made with only the finest ingredients - fresh orange peel, coriander and secret spices, this brew stands up to it's iconic name. The polka dots on the label are a tip of the hat to his style; he promised his Mother a polka dot Cadillac after he hit it big, but sadly, he wasn't able to do so before she passed. So, so you'll see the poke dots in everything around him, from his guitar to his clothes... and now on his very own brew! It's the "Damn Right Beer" to quench your thirst.

Buddy the Brewer enjoys the simple things in life: long walks on the beach, car rides with the windows down, playful belly rubs, midafternoon snacks, sniffing mailboxes and table scraps. But most of all, Buddy enjoys brewing… After things were all said and done, there was nothing left for Buddy to do but sit down in the Taproom and enjoy a pint.
