Brown with garnet highlights, this beer is lower in alcohol than any of our other offerings. The soft, bready malt backbone mingles with hints of dark fruit (raisin & date) and combines with faint banana and cinnamon aromas to create this flavorful and quaffable ale. Originally brewed to gain additional knowledge on the performance of the Idle Hands Craft Ales brewhouse this beer also has the dubious distinction of being very “sessionable” and after consumption you are still left with most of your mental capacity.

Cognome is an imperial IPA that is fit for a king. This beer has a massive malt base and has been battle tested by Huell melon hops.

Cohan’s Porter is a unique Irishman’s Porter recipe, written by Parting Glass founder, Bob Cohan, and brewed exclusively under Bob’s supervision. The beer is a dark brown in color, with a lot of maltiness and a rich roasted character. The moderate body interacts with the low hop flavor very nicely, creating a delicate interweb of subtleties and innuendos. The overall result is a dark, rich porter, with medium hop character and aroma. Surprisingly vivid for its low ABV, this is a nice session beer for a night on the town, or just a quiet drink with friends. Look for it around September.

When the loveable "hopheads" at Humpy's Great Alaskan Alehouse requested a winter version of alehouse favorite Sockeye Red IPA, our brewers instinctively spawned CoHoHo Imperial IPA. CoHoHo begins with generous measures of pale two-row and specialty malts along with spirit-boosters like brown sugar and honey. Hefty doses of Cascade, Centennial and Simcoe hops beautifully balance that outrageous malt bill while juniper berries heighten the festive character of this exuberant beer. Coirm is an old Celtic name for Ale that also meant feasting or drinking party. This Red Ale has a subtle malty sweetness balanced out by Crystal and Goldings hops. Usually on tap around St. Patty's Day.
