Doovalacky Double IPA

Made using the finest specialty malts: Golden Promise from England (the malt used to make Scotch), Crystal Malt from Chile, and Vienna Malt from Germany. Bittering Hops: Nelson Sauvin and two different dry hops throughout fermentation with Wakatu hops. Finishing Hops: Pacifica and Motueka. We used Australian Ale Yeast, plucked from the outback. The result is a perfectly-balanced double IPA with hop aromas of lime zest and grapefruit.

Doppelbock

Dopplebock is a stronger version of the traditional bockbier. Originally brewed in Munich by the Paulaner monks, it served as "liquid bread" during times of fasting. A true winter lager, our Dopplebock is dark and full-bodied. With its high alcohol content, you want to be careful how quickly you imbibe. The flavor is very malty with a hint of chocolate and roasted grain.

Doppelbock

Doppel means double and bock is a higher strength German lager. This style was originally created by Franciscan monks in Germany known as Paulaners. It was used as a source of nutrients during times of fasting such as Lent. Liquid bread, basically. It is a showcase for malt aromas and flavors. Being a lager, it is cold conditioned for long periods to smooth out flavors. Our Doppelbock has caramel–like aromas, very low roast, and a hint of licorice in the aroma.

Doppelbock

Originally brewed by the monks of St. Francis of Paula (Paulaner Brewery today) as liquid bread for the fast during Lent, and dedicated to the Savior, or Salvator in German. As a nod to the original, all subsequent doppelbocks end in -ator. Thus, ours is called Creamator. It is very smooth, dark, rich, and malty. Doppelbock come in around 7.5 abv.

Doppelbock

A complex malt build and higher alcohol content combine to create a near religious experience. German Noble Hops do little to tame the strong full body developed by monks as a “liquid bread” to cleanse the soul during periods of fasting. Lagered for 12 weeks to provide a clean rich finish. Good things come to those that wait.

Doppelganger Hoppy Pale Wheat

Neither Pale Ale nor American wheat, Doppelganger emulates our favorite characteristics of both styles. Dry and slightly bitter with a distinct hoppy nose. A light body gives way to a refreshing wheat finish. We recirculated the bright, cold beer through dry hops before kegging, which imparted a much earthier, floral hop character.
