BARREL AGED DOPPELBOCK A sweet malt forward lager with subtle hints of vanilla, coconut and bourbon.

Dopple Bock- from the Conan Series, a deep ruby, almost black in color, malty and rich with balanced hop bitterness, using German Northern Brewer and German Hallertau hops, 8.2% ABV.

This is a strong German Lager; deep amber to light brown in color with ruby highlights. Our Dopplebock is a malt-forward beer that is smooth and deceptively strong. Expect bready and nutty flavors with a hint of raisins in the background. The sweetness is nicely balanced by German Noble hops that provide a touch of spice.

This 17th century traditional is a Pisgah staff favorite. Our German-style bock is brewed with Munich malt, whole-leaf hops, and the right German yeast strain to give it the authenticity this style deserves. Originally brewed for lent to serve as liquid bread for the monks, this beer is loaded with notes of toasted barley malt and backed-up with hint of caramel and toffee. This rare German treat goes down smooth and finishes clean!

Dorian Winter’s Dance is a cranberry and espresso stout with hints of chocolate, cranberry, espresso and oak. Global Delights out of Eugene, Oregon supplied the organic fair-trade Dominican/Ethiopian espresso. Scarlet Lane teamed up with Chef JJ’s Backyard of Broadripple to create a unique oak finish to the stout that aids the all-natural flavor of the Oregon cranberries. Dorian Winter’s Dance is also the first beer brewed and designed with SLB's new Head Brewer, Simon Sothras.

After its maiden voyage in 2013, this refreshing pale wheat beer is setting sail again! Brewed with Pioneer hops for a zingy citrus aroma, and a touch of lemon zest added to the hopback.

Gulpener Dort is the first Dutch specialty beer, first brewed in 1953 Dort is a variant of the German Dortmunder. You really love characterful beer, then you drink Gulpener Dort. A lovely amber authentic Limburg beer with a gracious, full-malted body and slightly sweet flavor.

Dortmunder is a golden lager both less dry and less bitter than our Pilsner, this brew fits the bill for beer drinkers looking for something simple and good. Hailing from the city of Dortmund, this style of beer is sometimes called “Export.”
