Named after the philosopher from Voltaire’s “Candide,” Dr Pangloss viewed most situations with unwarranted optimism. Sarcastic, erratic, and fantastical, this beer lives by the mantra that “all is for the best in the best of all possible worlds.” Not defined by a traditional style, Dr Pangloss is brewed with a blend of six different American hops and a healthy amount of roasted malts to pair with the intense citruses.

This is and India Pale Ale blended with freshly poured shots of Extract Coffee Roaster’s Dr Strangelove espresso. The coffee and hops blend to bring intense flavours and aroma of dark chocolate, plum, vibrant cherry and pine, creating a truly unique brew.

Horse & Dragon presents our version of this traditional celebratory style and we pay homage to Dr. Wilkinson with its name. Dark and roasty in taste yet smooth and light in mouthfeel, this drinkable stout is definitely a session worth undertaking! Slainte!

Dr. Zeus is brewed with a combination of English Ale yeast and bold American Zeus hops. This combination creates a unique sharp nose of spicy herbs and tart lemon. Noticeable grassy and straw hop flavors, intermixed with slight peppery notes, outweighs the grain contributions from the smaller malt bill. An intense bitterness takes over, before leading into a dry finish.
