Another variation on our Loose Cannon recipe, an authentic Belgian Chouffe yeast differentiates this IPA. The yeast unlocks flavor profiles, like banana and clove, in the beer that set off the citrus element in the aroma even more. Look for its spice and pepperiness. Chocolate malt makes Dubbel Cannon a shade darker in color, belying its fruity and bright characteristics.

Choppy French meaning "double check your heat exchanger", this is a Belgian Dubbel with Czech Saaz hops that was soured with lactobacillus that was picked up while cooling down in our heat exchanger.

Dubbel Fisted is a complex, rich, malty sweet beer with hints of caramel and toast. It presents a fruity aroma reminiscent of raisins, plums and banana with a whiff of clove and spice. The flavor profile of this beer is similar to its aroma with the addition of dried fruits. There is virtually no hop bitterness to this Belgian-style Dubbel. This is a medium bodied beer that pours a dark copper color topped by a creamy, dense, off-white head. Belgian candi sugar was used in brewing this beer, a traditional ingredient in stronger Belgian beers, to amplify its flavor and boost its alcoholic strength. The result is a beer that is higher in alcohol at 8.0% but it hides it well, meaning it is easy to drink and doesn’t have a harsh alcohol taste.

One might think we are obsessed with Belgian action stars--not so--unless that action star happens to be a Belgian monk brewer. Dubbel Impact is based on the traditional dark ale made in Belgian Abbeys since time immemorial (ok, maybe for the last 150 years, but that is still a long time). The result is a rich complex beer that packs a punch even JCVD would be jealous of!

Two time winner at the WBC, this is our version of a Belgian-Style Dubbel. Dark amber to light brown in color, this beer is packed with characters of dark malt and fruit. Touch of richness in its body but yet finishes crisp.

Dubbel Standaard is a delicious Belgian ale brewed with Meridian hops and Belgian candi sugar. In order to create an authentic Belgian-style ale, we alter our water chemistry to match the water in Antwerp.

This is a traditional example of a Belgian Dubbel that stays true to the ingredients and flavor of the rich malty creations that Trappists Belgian breweries have been crafting for centuries. It’s a strikingly beautiful beer with a deep copper hue and bold ruby highlights. The aroma is alive with fruity esters, sweet malt, grape, and cherry. A pruny, figgy, flavor with moderate dark caramel notes hints at fruity sweetness followed by a clean dry finish.

Dubbeltime is a fantastic and creatively-brewed Belgian Style Dubbel. Collaboratively brewed with Ale Syndicate, this dubbel has a delicate mix of light Belgian candi sugars and cocoa, with a classic subtle Belgian bubble gum finish.

North Peak Dubious is a Dark Chocolate Stout that has the perfect combination of chocolate, roast and black malts resulting in a smooth rich beer. Judicious use of hops bring out a complex, yet subtle bittering finished off with a big Goldings nose. This swirl of aroma, flavor and body is underscored by the rich chocolate that is added at the end of the boil. This medium bodied beer is brewed in Traverse City, MI, on Old Mission Peninsula incorporating locally grown hops.

An English style session ale with a lemon citrus aroma and a coy hop background. This beer has the chops to satisfy long time craft drinkers, but is still delicate enough to entice the non-initiated.
