Our version of this West Coast standard is brewed using an English Ale yeast, Munich, wheat, and two different types of caramel malts, and leaves a less dry, more full finish. Magnum, Northern Brewer, Cascade, and Centennial hops give this IPA a flowery aroma that blends perfectly with the malt

With our second collaboration with our friends at Rhinegeist, we bring you respite from the chills of winter with a deeply complex, rich and malty lumberjack of a beer. This Scottish-Style Wee Heavy meets Belgian-Style Dark Hybrid descendant of Wee Muckle and Mastodon aims to embrace your palate in a flannely, chocolatey, enormously malty two-state bear hug and warm you to your core.

Big Time Brewer Emeritus Kevin Forhan returned from sabbatical on the coast of Spain just in time to help brew the beer to comemmorate our 17th Anniversary. (Few people know that the traditional gift to mark seventeen years is beer.)

Émile is aged in foudres that once held Pineau des Charentes, a French aperitif made famous by the man whose name graces this beer’s label. We brew Émile with a blend of 2-row malt, local oats, local raw red wheat, Special B, and Midnight Wheat, then hop with Northern Brewer hops. Émile’s roasty, vinous flavor comes together after it’s been fermented with our house yeast, and then aged in the foudre with Lactobacillus and Pediococcus. The color of mature rosewood with ruby highlights, Émile carries the aroma of black currants and elderberries with hearty, earthy undertones. Notes of both dark chocolate and dates infuse the taste, making for a beer that’s part France, part Belgium, and all Maine.

Done in the style of an ESB. The beer has a nice smooth malty flavor and the hops have floral, citrus aroma.

The Hollow Porter aged over Ecuadorian cocao nibs and roasted coconut. Pleasantly chocolaty and nutty without a cloying sweetness. These extra ingredients add a layer of flavor to the base beer without compromising or covering up the natural malt flavors.

A blend of orange and lemon zest, combined with coriander in true Belgian fashion. It comes light in color and rich in flavor, partnered with strong hop undertones and a refreshing finish.

This amplified version of our Birthday Suit Nut Brown Ale is made with full flavored English Maris Otter malt and 8 other malts imparting a rich, smooth, toasty, well balanced and higher alcohol ale. Hopped with Northern Brewer, Cascade, and East Kent Golding.

Single hop ale. Brewed with Jester hops, a new strain developed in 2012 by Charles Faram.

Inspired by a traditional German Pilsner, Empire Summer Ale uses German malt and hops, but is fermented with our house ale yeast. It is finished with dried lemon peel which gives the beer a lemony zing.

IPA Dry-hopped with Falconer's Flight

Mora is Spanish for "blackberry." Empress Mora is a deeply roasted stout, aged on blackberries in red wine barrels gifted to us from our friends at Denver's Infinite Monkey Theorem winery.
