This ESB is the dry-hopped version of our beloved Pleasant House flagship, Ol’ Codg. 100% British: malt, fruity aroma hops, and ESB yeast strain.

Deep toffee and malt aromas, with hazelnut and dark roast undertones, our English Dark Mild is hardy yet sessionable. Delicate UK Fuggles hops add a hint of grassy earthiness, giving this brew a more traditional characteristic. With lunch or after work, the mild is a true everyday beer.

When it comes to developing new brews, we are inspired to create flavors our friends will truly enjoy. Not every idea makes it to the glass, but this one did. We combined authentic English malts with Fuggles hops to create a brew that is strikingly tea-like. With a wonderful smooth flavor and 3.4% ABV, our English Mild is a great alternative to light beer. It‘s the perfect brew to quench your thirst on a hot summer day.

A robust yet sessionable English style brew that falls in the line of a dark brown or a light porter. Packed full of notes of toasted nuts, toffee and caramel this brew will surprise most with its big flavor out put and extreme drinkability.

This beer starts nearly identical to our Nut Brown Ale, however we designed it to resemble the great, draught, pub beers of England. Dark brown in color, with a malt character resembling bitter chocolate and a hint of raisins, this very lightly hopped beer is low enough in alcohol to be enjoyed in a true British “session.”

Don Vanuchi's little buddy. this beer is made from the second runnings of Don Vanuchi "the killer". although it is the lightest beer we have ever made, you still look tough drinking it because it's dark.

Brown's English Pale is not simply the sum of its ingredients. Rather than being simply malt or hop-forward, it offers a delicate balance of fruity yeast, bready and toffee-like malt sweetness, earthy and floral hop flavor, all rounded out by a subtle "mineral-ly" water base. As a Pale Ale, the hops play a large role, and thus it is both present in the bitterness (Fuggle hops), as well as in the flavor and aroma through dry hopping. Medium bodied and garnet in color, this beer pairs very well with fish and chips, and fruity deserts.

A refreshing English Pale Ale in the style of an ESB. Made with British malt and a classic British ale yeast, this beer has a fruity aroma with a toffee and biscuit like finish. Dry hopped with 8lbs of Fuggles.

Brown malt and rye spice dominate the nose of this mild, with a pleasant, almost marmalade fruitiness characteristic of English yeast supporting the initial waft. Medium body, with a russet brown color with hints of ruby and orange, this Rye Mild has notes of dark chocolate, toffee, rye spice, and espresso.

A golden straw coloured beer with plenty of fresh fruity hop aroma and flavour from locally grown Golding’s Highwood hops. A full bodied beer with a refreshingly cool taste, ideal for those warm lazy summer days.
