Enkir

Einkorn has the star role in the beer. Used in a 55 % amount, this ancient cereal, Triticum monococcum, the first one to be domesticated, gives the beer some marvelous spicy and resinous notes that embrace the yellow fruit flavors very well. This beer was born as a collaboration with Mulino Marino from Cossano Belbo (Cuneo), who uses for bread making.

Entendez Noel

Like most big Belgian holiday beers, Noel is bursting with subtly complex flavors and fits no particular beer style. Its explosion of sensations comes from just Belgian Pilsner malt, cane sugar, Motueka hops, Trappist yeast, water, and fermentation. Drink warm or cold in various glassware shapes and sizes to discover all its nuances. Entendez should age extremely well for years to come.

Enterprise Dry Hopped Lager

Strong US sales of Green's gluten-free ales and consumer requests for a lighter gluten-free beer led to the development of Green's Enterprise Gluten-Free Dry-Hopped Lager. Made from gluten-free ingredients - millet, sorghum, rice, buckwheat, hops, water, and yeast (with no wheat or barley) - it is dry-hopped with West Coast USA hops for an appealing floral finish. Golden pale in color, the nose is a mix of citrus-floral aroma sensations, clean with a light malt taste, but with an herbal, hoppy aftertaste. Body and mouthfeel are light and refreshing.

Entwined

Entwined Ale is the first production batch of a test beer formerly referred to as Nelson. While the recipe was adjusted slightly from the original tests, the use of Muscat juice remains the focus. The juice was combined with pale malt in the brewhouse for a beer that is light both in body and in color. It was hopped exclusively with a New Zealand hop variety called Nelson Sauvin, known for its tropical fruit and white wine-like aromatics. This unique session ale has a refreshing, slightly tart finish.

Envy

England was the ENVY of the world in the 18th century. This style of beer was first referred to as “pale ale as prepared for India” (India… it was ours once, you know). Our English-style IPA shows a deep copper color with a luxurious head. Hops are at the forefront of this ale’s flavor and aroma, though it finishes with a nice malty backbone… very tasty.

EPA IPA

E.P.A.I.P.A is Northern Ales' special variation of Indian (or sometimes Imperial) ale. (E.P.A refers to a government agency) The story behind this ale is that long sea voyages required a high alcohol content in order to arrive in exotic locations unspoiled. Whether you're headed for India, China, or maybe just down to the river for some fishing, this ale is guaranteed to be be a fine companion.

Éphémère Blackcurrant

As its name suggests, Éphémère is an ephemeral ale that comes and goes with the seasons. It was developed as a series to feature a seasonal fruit in a refreshing, lightly spiced white ale. The label depicts a fairy, an ephemeral spirit associated with fruits picked at the peak of ripeness during each harvest season. She first appered in the spring of 2001 and has since been celebrated on a variety of seasonal fruit ales featuring applemust, cranberry, blackcurrant, peach, and raspberry. First created in 2003, the blackcurrant version returned to delight beer drinkers in 2009. This berry, also known as cassis, is often overlooked by Quebecers. It has an intense flavor and a deep, rich, and complex aroma.

Ephraim

Ephraim (1823-1913) was our great-great grandfather; Hill Farmstead Brewery resides several hundred feet downhill from the land that he and his father settled. In his honor, this Imperial India Pale Ale is dutifully crafted from American malted barley, buckets of American hops, our ale yeast and water from our well. It is unfiltered, naturally carbonated, and double dry hopped. Intensely aromatic and saturated with resinous hop flavor, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Ephraim.

Epic

Epic combines the styles of a German Helles Bock with an American IPA. The robust maltiness derived from the bock lager yeast fuses together with the liberal American-style hop character to create a truly unique style of beer. As a blonde lager, Epic delivers all the complexity that's both proportionately balanced and "perilously drinkable."

Epic Saison

A transcontinental fusion of Belgian beer and feisty American hops Epic by name, epic by nature. This Farmhouse Ale is a transcontinental fusion of Belgium’s eclectic beer culture and the feisty Sorachi Ace hops of North America, brought to life with by West Country artisanal brewing wizardry. Such a complex beer is a no-brainer for partnering with food — how about stir-fried lemon chicken where the bright citrus notes lift the dish? Or be brave and invite the beer’s spiciness onto the menu with chicken satay. On the nose, the hops deliver a big splash of tropical fruit, followed by ripples of well-seasoned spiciness. In the mouth a tangy, bittersweet fruitiness holds sway, while tangerines tap dance their way across the tongue in the finish.
