Gotlandsdricka

Gotlandsdricka, meaning “Drink of the Land of Goths,” is believed to have been the beer of the Vikings. Our rendition of this ancient style is inspired by the traditional farmhouse ales once brewed on the island of Gotland, off the coast of Sweden. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, and 100% naturally conditioned.

Gotta Get Up To Get Down

Magical natural process beans from the Konga region of Ethiopia lead the way in this beautiful coffee stout. This rare variety of coffee leads to aromas of sweet roastiness and flavors of blueberry pie. Lactose, or milk sugar, is added along with oats for a silky medium body and a lush finish.

Gouden Carolus Christmas

Thirty-eight years we had to miss the Christmas beer but in 2002 the tradition was restored with Gouden Carolus Christmas. It’s a strong, dark ruby red beer with character and contains an alcohol percentage of 10.5 % VOL. Brewed in August, the beer rests a few months to reach an optimal balance. Three kinds of hops and six different kinds of herbs and spices define the rich taste of this Christmas beer. Top-class!

Gouden Carolus Easter

We brew this dark special beer every year for Easter. It contains several types of malt and during the brewing process three different kinds of herbs are added to give it that fine, special taste. Its ruby red colour, high alcohol concentration of 10% VOL and its full and well-balanced taste are a source of vitality and strength. A true delight, even for the most critical connoisseur. For ideal tasting, serve cool at a recommended temperature of 7-8° C and pour out gently in one movement. This pleasant, dark special beer is chosen by all who love a richer, slightly spicier tasting Ale.

Gourd of Thunder Imperial Pumpkin Porter

Gourd of Thunder is a dark and gnarly Imperial Pumpkin Porter brewed with freshly picked local pumpkins that were ripened on the vine while continuously listening to heavy metal. The malty pumpkin backbone fuses robustly with a milky sugar creaminess. Bourbon vanilla beans lay down a rock-steady foundation that drives the cinnamon, ginger and clove spices through your skull. This brew does not merely mimic the flavor of a mortal pumpkin pie. Gourd of Thunder will cataclysmically blow your mind with its face-melting, high-voltage attitude. Headbangers Unite!

Gowanus Bay Bitters

Beer made by brewer Pete Dickson, in honor of the great Gowanus Bay. This beer is a straightforward English Bitter-style recipe, fermented with an abundance of Maris Otter pale malt with a healthy contribution of Fuggle hops. However, it is fermented clean and cold with a neutral ale yeast, and dry hopped heavily in the conditioning carboys. Expect aromatic, floral and toasted biscuit malt flavors.
