And toast to your neighbor to the north or south. Cheers! This White IPA is yellow with orange highlights. It features citrus and fruity aromas and flavors from the Vic Secret and Centennial hops. The malt character is light and nutty. Spices such as Coriander, Grains of Paradise and citrus peels are added to accentuate the citrus flavor and aroma. Finishes very bitter. The Belgian yeast character compliments the fruity character of the hops and spices.

We had to use our lauter tun as a hop strainer to brew this one, which made for an interesting brew day, but the results were worth it! It has a great raw, resinous hop flavor and is still highly drinkable.

The Mad Scientists at Sixpoint Brewery worked with Gizmodo to create Hop Tech 431, an IPA brewed with an unreleased, experimental hop strain. To find the strain we worked with hop breeder Gene Probasco, to find an experimental hop unavailable in other brews, but on the cusp of making it to the big time. We decided on HBC 431, a strain which, quite uncommonly, is of unknown parentage. It has unique earthy, woody notes that could make for very interesting beers down the road.
