My Hopfen Weizenbock is not your traditional German style weissbier. Made with pilsner malt and wheat roasted in Wisconsin. Subtle banana flavors come from the Weinstephan yeast, but four times the hops as usual make for a beer you won't find outside München.

Welcome to another fun Double IPA. This one is called Hopfenpop and will start shipping to accounts on Monday August 3rd. We are calling this a “pre-prohibition double IPA”, part of a new series we’re calling “Never Upon a Time”. “Why?”, you ask? Well, it’s because we did an old-school, big boy cereal mash to give it exceptionally light body (for an 8% abv beer). A cereal mash uses corn grits, which are not really a craft brewing thing. In fact, we couldn’t buy them from any of our regular suppliers, such is their “big beer” stigma. Well, they have their uses! (one of which in this case was clogging up our lauter tun big time… but we’ll come to that). The use of a cereal mash allows us to bring down the color and body of the beer, while keeping the ABV and allowing us to hop the beer “stupidly.” So, we present to you a pale yellow, 8% abv, low bodied, refreshing, double IPA. The words refreshing and double IPA don’t ordinarily go together, but we think you will agree they do here. The hops are Mosaic and Sorachi Ace. And there’s plenty of them. High aroma, fairly high bitterness. A good high-summer, hot-as-mars kind of a beer. The name, of course, is Germany-inspired, and we might wear our lederhosen to the launch party. Maaaaaaybe. Hopfenstopfen is an 85% white wheat hefeweizen brewed with a modified decoction mash to enhance the mild flavors of the malt. Copius dry-hopping with whole leaf hops open a big aroma of tangerine, lychee and mango that pairs beautifully with the mild lactic sourness. .

our delicious interpretation of the berliner style comes just in time for summer. Hopfentea paris well with light appetizers fish and high humidity.

Lightly tart, citrus and wheat. Decent hop bite. Crisp and refreshing.

Hopfest is medium size light amber ale with a good portion of Munich malt for a firm maltiness to back up the hops. Each batch of Hopfest features a different single variety of hops. OG 14.5 Plato (1.058)

Light golden with a distinct floral and honey aroma, this wheat IPA is lively and bright. Bold, citrusy hops and a slightly sweet maltiness make this an easy-drinking yet full-flavored brew.

Our version of an American Brown, Hopfull is a rich, malty beer with a 7.3% abv. We add additional hops at all stages to give it a hoppy aroma and flavor.

This is a dry hopped Helles Doppelbock. It is a lager that is brewed with pilsner malt and will be hopped in the brewhouse and dry hopped in the aging tank with a combination of German Noble hops. This combination will result in a brew with a sweet malty flavor and strong hop aroma.

This hoppy nectar features a solid malt backbone supporting citrusy West Coast hop goodness. Citrusy aromas and flavors come through as a result of an aggressive dry hopping process. The mischevious Hopgoblin American IPA will definitely satisfy your hophead cravings!

A light amber, light bodied ale flavored with spices. Goes great with ghouls and ghosts. OG 20 plato (1.080), FG 4.7 (1.019) 6.4% by weight, 8% by volume

Behold Hopgoddess! Ever changing, mortal expectations mean nothing to her. Hopped in the kettle with Falconer's Flight, Amarillo, Ella, and Citra this brewing incarnation has wrapped herself in a Mosaic dry-hop cloak, hiding her golden color taken in tribute from Pale and Pils malts.

Our American Pale Ale. 4.8% Brewed with oats. Hopped intensely with Simcoe, Centennial, and Amarillo. Hay, juicy, and imminently crushable. This batch was conditioned on fresh peaches and blackberries.

Our Hopinator is a modern day beer super-power, goes off like the 4th of July and is bigger than Texas! In this super sized India Pale Ale we pack in an exceptional amount of American Chinook, Centennial, Citra and Aussie Topaz hops resulting in a brash bitterness that vies for palate dominance over a smooth caramel malt bill.

Hopivore features Cascade and Brewer’s Gold hops from the Leelanau Peninsula. The hot and dry weather this year helped create productive and flavorful alpha and beta acids in these maturing vines, which are in their third and fourth season. Hopivore is a wet-hopped Harvest Ale, so the hops were introduced to the kettle only hours after harvest, without being dried. Hopivore presents a round, deep hop character, balanced by modestly sweet maltiness. Expect a more herbaceous hoppiness than other hop-forward beers.

Hardywood Hoplar follows the wood-aging tradition of the earliest India Pale Ales, which were matured on oak. Rather than oak, we’ve selected the delicate wood of a fallen Virginia Tulip Poplar, which was TreeCycled by CitiWood and toasted for use in this hearty IPA. While this Poplar can no longer rustle in the wind or give shade, it is able to offer balance to the bright citrus and pine character from heaps of Cascade, Columbus and Summit hops with subtle notes of caramelized vanilla. And the tree was hoppy. In the mid-1800s, when the early IPAs were being shipped in wooden barrels from the breweries of Burton-on-Trent to thirsty British colonists in India, our Tulip Poplar was a mere sapling on the outskirts of Richmond, Virginia. On September 18, 2003, this towering Poplar prevailed to the fierce Hurricane Isabel and fell on Bell Creek Road. Richmond-based CitiWood Urban Forest Products helped us transform the wood from this fallen Poplar into custom designed flavor- and aroma-enhancing infusion sticks. Post fermentation, Hoplar is dry-hopped with a generous helping of whole-flower Cascade hops and conditioned on the toasted Poplar. Hardywood Hoplar is mahogany in color with a hearty, tan head and offers an aroma of grapefruit brûlée and pine needles, as well as delicate vanilla toffee and a hint of campfire. Medium- to full-bodied with assertive (100 IBUs) yet delightful hop bitterness, Hoplar is balanced with ample caramel malt backbone. A bit of earthy tannin from the Poplar harmonizes with the resinous hoppy character, which dissipates into a lingering finish. We believe this tree’s spirit lives on in Hardywood Hoplar, and hope that the finished product rouses your spirit.

Inspired by the Miles Davis classic Boplicity and the improvisational spirit of jazz, Hoplicity carefully crafts a steady backbeat of alpha acids and transitioning layers of resinous, cirtus, and tropical hops into a rich textured ensemble. Using Galaxy, El Dorado, Amarillo and Simcoe, this is our hoppiest beer and promises to leave your palate stunned, erratic, and eager for more.
