This beer was brewed in November 2013 and has been aging in stainless so the locally cultured lactobacillus we inoculated it with could really come through. Though this beer has a sour side, there is still a malt backbone from the large amount of German malts used to brew this beer.

Roasty, slightly sweet, light bodied black beer, 5.5% ABV and 19 IBUs. For sometime, this has been our ’dark horse’ beer. Many people have had a chance to try our earlier versions of this beer, but our current batch is one of the best. This beer is making its official debut at the Eat Real Festival in Oakland and will then be on tap wherever Linden St. beers are to be found.

A full-bodied beer, balanced between the natural sweetness of the crystal malts and the dry roast flavor of dark malts. It carrie a Rye spiciness elevated by the bourbon soaked oak. Not your average Imperial Stout -- like Emperor Norton, it is a little eccentric and fits our Bay Area roots.

Sour Sourdough Red

An imperial stout brewed with honey and raspberries, then aged in bourbon barrels. Pure bliss. THe chocolate notes from the stout come through and blend with the richness of the honey and the tangy fruit of the raspberries. Then add in the bourbon characteristics picked up from the barrels and you have a beer that will be delicious now, or age well if you want to save this limited release for a special ocassion. Pro tip - this is quite possibly the perfect beer for Valentine's Day, but there's no way it'll last that long in stores, so pick it up for your beer cellar now!

Line Dry Rye is a honey-orange colored pale ale. It is crafted with 10% rye malt and 10% flaked rye for a complex malt profile. American hops give Line Dry a crisp bitterness and a slight citrusy flavor. Clean and refreshing , it ends with just a small note of honey in the finish that brings all of the elements together. The name ‘Line Dry’ was chosen as the perfect fit for summer in the Willamette Valley. With only a small window of opportunity to practice this energy saving practice, we think it is time you sit back with a pint of Line Dry Rye and watch the clothes dry!

For our second anniversary, we wanted to explore the nuances and beauty that comes from barrel-aging beer, but with a style that's very light and sessionable. We felt a berliner weisse exemplified that style, thus we give you Lion’s Share II. Tart, acidic, and light-bodied, this slightly sour German wheat beer has been re-fermented with black currants in recently emptied wine barrels, then blended with fresh beer for a lively finish. Think of it as our refreshingly unique way to thank each and every one of you who have supported us these past two years.

For our fourth anniversary we looked to the Trappist masters of brewing in Belgium and decided there’s no better beer to celebrate four years of brewing than with a Belgian-style Quad. Brewed with rich malt, dark Belgian candi sugar, and unique Belgian yeast, it’s the epitome of big, boozy, robust beers. Lion’s Share IV is our interpretation of the classic style. Aged for 4 months in brandy barrels, Lion’s Share IV displays an array of flavors while maintaining a nice balance throughout. Complex, almost wine-like aromas abound, with a rich, malty backbone and sweet, caramel flavors greeting you on first sip. Notes of dried cherries, figs, dates, and raisins intermingle as the finish warms you up with a pronounced but not overwhelming presence of alcohol. We’re proud to share this beer with you and the many fans who have supported us these past four years.
