Marzen means “March” in German. This was the traditional time to begin brewing beer for Oktoberfest in Germany. Our Marzen is a traditional marzen style beer made with Munich malt and three kinds of hops. We suspect this may be one of the best beers you’ll ever drink. Just pure spring water, hops, malt and our special yeast makes this a finely crafted and high quality brew. The Marzen Madness was rated #1 Oktoberfest in the world as reported by Foxnews.com.
Deep brown with touches of amber, this traditional German/Austrian-style translates as “March beer,” historically brewed in the early Spring and stored throughout the summer months in cool mountain caves, during which time it was too difficult to brew due to the hot weather. This style is the forerunner to Oktöberfestbier. Toasty malt characteristics are balanced by notes of Noble hops, offering a mild and pleasant bitterness. Full-bodied yet crisp, it is the perfect beer to complement the shifting seasons.
The Märzenbier is an Octoberfest-style amber lager brewed with Vienna, Munich, and Caramunich malts and lightly hopped with German Perle hops. The Bavarian lager yeast leaves a clean, malt focused beer perfect for drinking by the liter outside in the cool fall weather!

In Germany, these special beers were called Marzen [March] for the month in which they were brewed. When brewing resumed again in the fall, the remaining stock of Marzen was brought out for the Oktoberfest. In this way, a single style of beer came to be known by two names. 5.8% Volume
Our brewers believe an American IPA should be full of American hops. Masala Mama uses three different West Coast varieties, over five hop additions. This copper-colored ale is not strictly about hops; American pale barley and several caramel malts balance the flavor for a green, toasted caramel finish. The British realized an abundance of hops will help preserve beer we realized hops can preserve our customers.
An English Barleywine aged in Bourbon barrels, Mash is an intense yet balanced beer with notes of burnt caramel, toasted bread, ripe pear, dried figs, vanilla, toasted coconut and finishes with oak tannin. This has become an instant favorite around the brewery due to its balance, subtle complexities and overwhelming deliciousness

Masham Ale is the strongest beer we brew and was first brewed to commemorate our historic connections with our home town. Masham is a very ancient settlement which for many years was the wealthiest prebend in the whole of England, the living of which passed through many hands initially from one of William the Conquerors lieutenants and eventually to King Henry VIII who with it endowed Trinity College Cambridge. So a very significant town deserved a very significant ale!
Masham Ale is a beautifully full, rounded, great tasting ale and a fine example of the best of English cask ales. The use of fresh Fuggle hops gives a delightful subtle fruitiness. Masham Ale is brewed in late November in order to be available for those of our customers who love a Christmas treat! Such is the strength of the ale we advise consumption in half pint measures. Masham Ale is an ideal accompaniment to strong flavoured foods such as Blue Wensleydale.
This Scottish style Wee Heavy has the perfect combination of European malts. Mashie is full of rich malt flavors that will please your taste buds. So sit back, relax and enjoy this fine ale. Cheers!

One of our extreme session beers, this dark roasty malt-accented beer is our lowest alcohol beer yet. This session ale is toffee and chocolate accented with just enough hops to keep the malt sweetness from getting cloying. Brewed with English malts and English Goldings hops, this classic English-style ale was born for the Pub and your pint glass.
With one sip, toasted and caramel malts will linger on the palate. A touch of roasted malt and a lightly distinguishable hop melody give this easy-to-drink session beer its Irish charm. Sláinte!
Deep bright ruby hue and rich, creamy head. Caramel, toasted toffee, and slight roasted notes combine with nice fruity esters and earthy and subtle grassy hop aromas come together in the nose of this beer. The sweet caramel flavor upfront is balanced by a touch of roasted flavor. The earthy and grassy nature of hops make for a traditional touch to this Irish-style beer. This has a light, sessionable alcohol content that makes this beer easy to drink and also pair with foods.

With a focus on citrusy hops from the Southern hemisphere and an oak barrel finish, this double IPA is just the thing to get hysterical about - if you’re into that sort of thing. While it is unlikely this beer will inspire chaos on the magnitude of a city wide paranormal outbreak from an 80’s movie, we do hope you are as excited as we are about this special brew.
Brewed with 100% Massachusetts ingredients. The first time a beer with all MA grown and processed ingredients has been brewed in 50+ years. Barley grown on the Czajkowski Farm and malted by Valley Malt both from Hadley, MA. Hops grown on Four Star Farm in Northfield, MA. Aroma of fresh crystallized barley and zesty citrus. Light body with clean malt sweetness turns to refreshing hop bitterness. Extremely fresh tasting!
If you have never called a lager “ferocious” then you haven’t tried Massacre. We start with an imperial dark lager and age it in heavy-toast Kentucky bourbon barrels until it’s ready to package, at which point we dip each precious bottle in red wax to seal in the deliciousness. Very limited production, sold only in October. Make sure to get yours while it lasts.
