Our ESB is aggressive and balanced, both in alcohol and hop character, but nothing overpowering. Our color range leans towards the copper end of the scale due to the use of Maris Otter pale malt. Low carbonation. Malts tend to be more pronounced, often toasty and fruity. And despite "bitter" being in its name, ESBs are not really all that bitter. They key to McHenry County ESB is balance.

Named after a famous Rally car driver Colin McRae and also Chef Andy's Clan Name. Scottish style ale made with Peat malt and dark Crystal malt.

McYunk's is a traditional Scottish session ale that packs a ton of flavor. The sweetness from the caramel malt is delicately balanced with the earthy English hops. A deep amber in color, this ale finishes dry, leaving your tastebuds wanting another pint.

Me and the Dev-Ale is a rustic brew inspired by the MIssissippi Delta Blues and its folklore. Our Autumnal release from the Lazy Magnolia Back Porch series is an 8% ABV Mississippi Strong Ale that pours a dark and sinister ruby red beneath a creamy off-white head. The seductive caramel-sweetness is enveloped by resinous pine and citrus hops aroma, while delivering to the palate sweet biscuit, with a deluge of spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Find yourself at the ‘crossroads’ of alluring malt character and deviant hop backbone in this infamous ale, while celebrating the Blues Legends of the Mississippi Delta.

Peer pressure got the best of us this time. After repeatedly being asked to brew a session IPA, we finally caved in. So in true Device fashion, we hopped the daylights out of it and hit it with the Basilica dry hop schedule for an intense aromatic experience.

Super sweet honey mead.

Meadow Road Wheat is true to the Hefeweizen tradition of being unfiltered. It uses only malted wheat, lager malt, a top-fermenting Bavarian yeast, and is lightly topped with Tettnang. It has a beautiful medium-golden yeasty haze with a bright palate. The nose has notes of clove and honeysuckle coming through a background of banana. Pour smoothly into a tilted, rinsed glass, pausing when there's about a quarter of the bottle left, swirl the bottle to lift any sediment, and then finish pouring into the glass. This should produce a nice fragrant head.

Rodger the Dodger and his Imperial Porter bone offense didn’t stand a bat wing’s chance, once we dipped our Nicaraguan bean sack through his facemask! We blindsided his 8.5% Alc/Vol jock strap back to the fields to pick some more beans, resulting in this Immaculate con-Catch-tion of intense forearm shivers of chocolate malt, a body like the Bus and blitzes of gridiron hops, all clotheslined by intense coffee overtones. So good that you’ll need your terrible towel to wipe the tears. Imperial Porter brewed with Fresh Roasted Coffee Beans from Java Vino in Atlanta via their family coffee farm in Nicaragua.

Whilst we wouldn�t recommend having this at breakfast with your bacon and eggs, our Coffee Beer is made with real coffee and has a caffeine hit to match. The natural flavours of the beans selected and hand roasted by our friends at the Union Coffee Roasters go well with the roast barley in the beer to give a silky-smooth drink with distinct chocolate and vanilla notes. Our first formulation of this beer was the first UK brewed beer to carry the Fairtrade logo, and, although we have reformulated it to create an even better blend of malt and roast coffee flavours, we can no longer get enough coffee in each bottle to qualify for Fairtrade status. However we are still using the same Faitrade Araba Bourbon beans from Rwanda�s Abuhuzamugambi Bakawa Co-operative. At the Meantime Brewing Co we love flavour, so it wasn�t exactly difficult for us to see how the scents and aromas of coffee and barley would create a perfect match like just like mint and lamb, toffee and banana, peaches and cream, peanut butter and jam. Serve lightly chilled with as many chocolate truffles as your conscience allows. Each serving is equal to one cup of coffee
