Red Nitro

American Amber Ale is the epitome of a letdrikkelig and pleasant beer in an exemplary manner quenches thirst and pleases the palate. That sounds quite nice and cozy, yet not quite good enough for us. So we took a common Amber recipe, twisted it and multiplied it all up with a two-three pieces, and voila, we got "Amager Red Nitro" an Imperial Amber Ale. We spent lots of red caramel malt to create a solid malt base for that - once again - has been able to turn sharply up the hops. Amager Red Nitro is our playground for the American Galena hops, and if you think it's damn bitter, so you're right! Nice is not it?

Red Nose Rye

We hadn't originally planned to brew a Christmas beer, but our Reds have been so popular it seemed a shame not to! 'Red Nose Rye' is a festive amber-red ale, using brewers’ and crystal rye malt, Munich barley malts, plus Columbus and Northdown hops, with a subtle spice flavor recalling German “Stollen” Christmas cake – fresh ginger, a touch of nutmeg and cinnamon, plus 32lbs of cranberries (15 barrel batch). Tastes of the holidays without being overly spicy or drowning the underlying beer.

Red Oktober

A collision between two radically differing beer styles. The malt bill is classic Doublebock with German Munich, Caramunich and Melanoidin malts mashed at high temperatures to encourage dextrin production, and further caramelized in the mashtun and kettle. Color and hopping though are pure US Imperial Red with crystal rye malt providing a rich red-amber color. The complex blend of hops - Millennium, Warrior, Chinook for bittering; Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial for flavor and aroma. Finally we added 2 lbs of freshly picked homegrown Cascade to the hopback to provide a further burst of green hop flavor. This is like your old stereo with the bass and treble both turned up to 11 - definitely not a session beer!

Red or Green

The style of Berliner Weisse originated in 16th Century Germany as a wheat beer that was bottled and then buried in warm ground to ferment again. This created a sour and acidic beer that could be mixed with fruit syrups and other styles of beer and became the most popular alcoholic beverage in the region by the 19th Century. Here at Tractor, we have created a Berliner Weisse style in the traditional method of allowing the wort to “sour” before fermentation. You will notice a light straw color body and a clean white head. The Tractor Berliner Weisse has a sour lemon flavor, slight fruitiness and puckering mouth feel.

Red Panda

Like its namesake, Red Panda is a rare pleasure to behold. Brewed only when the mood strikes, this special ale is dripping in complexity and nuance. A wave of tropical fruit aroma brought on by massive amounts of Azacca hops leads to a rush of deftly balanced bittersweet flavor of hop and caramel malt finishing with a unique, toasty dryness that lingers just long enough. A complex web of esters round out the mystery of this highly drinkable strong ale that you may seek but may not always find. Be on the lookout for Wet Panda brewed at harvest with gobs and gobs of fresh Western Slope Colorado Cascade and Centennial hops straight from the bine!

Red Rage

This ale is inspired by the undocumented, freakish strength possessed by gingers (or at least by Graham). For those who are unaware of this phenomenon, red rage is, unofficially, the ONE thing Chuck Norris fears! Extreme outbursts of red rage can result in temporary memory loss which we like to refer to as “Ginger Induced Comas”. The beer itself is dark red, roasty like coffee, toasty like fresh bread and makes your mouth water for more. We put just enough hops in to remind you what they're capable of. This ale is medium bodied and easy to drink. Alberta Gingers Unite! It’s time to KICK BACK!!!
