A bright golden in color, our Tripel is medium-bodied with hints of soft pilsner malts and floral noble hops. It lends subtle hints of fruit and spice followed by a warm alcohol touch. A slight sweetness is on the middle of the palate that is then followed by a clean dry finish that one could only find in the finest of Belgian ales.

Peach & Ginger Saison 5.2% ABV Sunny orange in color this Summer Saison is easy drinking, fruity and slightly tart. Nicely balanced and very refreshing with additions of peach and fresh ginger.

We cold steep this Imperial Coffee Stout with rich full bodied Sumatrian coffee beans roasted by our friends at Benchwarmers Coffee right down the road in Fleetwood, PA. The heady perfume of French chocolate, roasted coffee, vintage port and passion fruit rise to the top delighting the senses. The beer then gracefully coats the palate with a deep cushion of velvet, lush silk appeal. At 11.5% ABV warm alcohol flavors elegantly finish this delightfully sensuous brew.

Above and beyond an India Pale Ale--I2PA is radically hopped with an intense aroma and hop bitterness. Unfiltered and aged for 9 months before it leaves the brewery--not for the faint of heart. I2PA is brewed with two-row Pipkin Pale malts, Saaz, Cascade and Northwest Golding hops. I2PA is available in a new 750ml Silkscreened black ceramic bottle and on draft.

This beer is the result of the marriage between two very distinct beer styles; the Belgian Tripel & American IPA. We have taken the best qualities from both styles and allowed them to shine through. The fruity and spicy notes from the imported Belgian yeast strain & the pungent flavors and aromas of the American grown Amarillo hops flow seamlessly together to create this flavorful ale. Straight from the Captain’s cellar to yours, we hope you enjoy. Enjoy in a goblet or wine glass.Tropical fruit and honey are the two biggest aromas coming from this lively brew. While the hop bitterness is not as powerful as an IPA, the hop flavor melds nicely with the fruity flavors created by the imported Belgian yeast strain used.

An American- style Xtra Pale Ale (XPA) highlights the subtle and sophisticated flavors of our American Midwest grown malts. Washington grown Northern Brewer and Palisade hops create an extremely balanced beer with a beautiful straw color. This crisp and refreshing ale is a session beer for sure! 4.5% abv. Bronze Medal Winner at 2009 Carolina Championship of Beer.

Bursting with Citra hop flavor and tropical, citrusy notes, this sessionable pale ale showcases Surly’s bright side.

Barleywine Ale is a traditionally brewed beer but has the alcohol content more akin to that of wine. Along with the higher alcohols come many fruity flavors common in wine. These fruity alcohols and yeast esters are balanced by a fresh bouquet of flowery, citrusy hops. Brewed in celebration of 15 years, XV was brewed with 15 different malts and 15 different hops, and hopped every 15 minutes over a two hour boil. The result is a complex ale packed with flavor and alcohol. Great with rich desserts or alone as a digestif. Served in an 8oz Brandy snifter glass only. Cheers to Fifteen Years.

As a finished beer, XVII is dark, rich and complex. The lead beers of the blend are Bravo, a lean and oak-forward imperial brown ale and Stickee Monkee, a huge brown sugar infused barley wine. These beers are beautiful on their own but together they bring rich molasses drenched oak flavors and cinnamon glazed almond aromas lifted by high alcohol. In the middle of the blend are our two favorite stouts, Parabola and Velvet Merkin, working in concert to provide a dusty cocoa mocha aroma and bitter dark chocolate flavors. Somehow together in this blend I am reminded of Bourbon-soaked chocolate chip cookie dough! Double DBA makes the blend again this year, bringing its signature vanilla-infused crème brulée flavor. Helldorado, our blonde barley wine, helps to bring balance with its honey notes and light leather nuances. Like last year, a dash of Wookey Jack made the cut bringing with it some fresh hop notes derived from bold Citra and Amarillo creating even more interesting complexity. All together I find XVII to be full of soft chocolate and warm spice perfectly balanced by toasted coconut, bourbon barrel notes and smooth creamy malt mellowness. The finished blend is unfiltered and unfined, so there will be a small amount of sediment in the bottom of the bottle.

Saints be praised! Due to the enormous amount of customers that requested the XVIth Chapel to be back on tap, the brewers at Fort George couldn’t help but comply. The XVIth Chapel is technically a double IPA fermented with a flamboyant strain of Belgian yeast. The brewer’s skill is put to the test in order to finesse the bitter and aromatic hop profile with the fruity esters produced during the long fermentation cycle. With plenty of delicious Galena, Centennial, and Amarillo hops to balance out the spice of the farmhouse yeast, the XVIth is a perfect blend of bitter and sweet. You will be on your knees praising the beer gods over this earthy double IPA. XVIth Chapel: Roses on Roses Take the XVIth Chapel, age it in Four Roses Bourbon Barrels, condition it on rose hips and more hops. Available for a limited time in 22oz bottles. Happy 5th anniversary! Five years ago we opened a little brewpub in the downstairs corner of The Fort George Building in Historic Downtown Astoria. Today we take up nearly and entire city-block: , three buildings, two breweries, two bars, an event space, and a canning line with all run by almost 50 hard-working employees. With a beer in the plans for almost as long as we’ve been operational, this is our expression of what a brewery can accomplish in five short but intense years. Originally brewed in 2009 to celebrate Specialty Imports’ 30th Anniversary, XXX Black Double IPA is now produced each winter. XXX offers bold, American hop character — comfortably cloaked in dark, luxurious malt. This exciting “winter warmer” will take the chill right out of your bones. Curl up with this session-beer-meets-nightcap. Sometimes XXX just means 30. In 2009, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Specialty Imports' specialty wine and beer import business, Midnight Sun Brewing Company brewed a very special beer--a black double IPA--to honor this Alaska company's long-term success. In 2010 this beer was added to MSBC's "seasonal double IPA" line-up.

This is the 31st variation of saison we have brewed at Wicked Weed. XXXI showcases the complexity of a saison style beer. We used crystal rye malt in tandem with subtle amounts of Pineapple and Mango creating a wonderful blend of earth like malt and tropical flavors.
