Most brewers would run away from the idea of brewing a 100% brettanomyces beer, but our brewers ran to the challenge and met it head on. Commonly considered one of the hardest yeast strains to manage, brettanomyces implores copious amounts of natural tropical fruit esters that we paired with mangoes for a crisp and clean showcase of our brew teams talents. This sour spent nine months in stainless and never touched oak, leaving it a wildly tame and drinkable sour.

Are you ready for some hazy, NE Coast love? A double dry hop gives this IIPA an aroma that is packed citrus and fruit. It's sweet to start, with a succulent mouth feel that finishes smooth and dry.

The name says it all - we've combined the zest of sweet orange peel in a hoppy Pacific NW pale ale. This beer is easy-drinking, finishes dry and has great orange-citrus flavor.

A collaboration with Alex Small, a urologist as well as homebrewer, this Belgian Strong Ale is one of his favorite old recipes. With European malts, Belgian yeast and Amarillo hops, it’s a mingling of both sides of the pond.

A blueberry wheat ale brewed with real blueberries to give it a natural deep purple color. We use Pacific Gem hops for optimal balance.

Young fools learn things the hard way and slowly become wise old sages; the same is true of our young fool. This pale ale is one of our oldest recipes and has developed over the years into and amazing beer. Juicy aromas of grapefruit entice your nose as you sip you taste a beautiful blend of hops, and as this light bodied beer finishes your hit with a firm yet pleasant bitterness.

Winter Warmer is the definitive winter beer and is a long-time Young’s favourite. A previous champion cask beer and Gold Medal Winner at the Brewing Industry International Awards, Winter Warmer is an essential beer during the winter months. Winter Warmer is 100% malt brew, with Maris Otter and Crystal malt combining Fuggle and Golding hops. Young’s unique cane sugar mix is added to the copper during the brewing process. A welcome sight on the bar during the winter months, Winter Warmer is the ideal beer to cosy up with in front of a pub fire on a cold winter’s night.

This lager recipe comes to us from Bavaria, by way of our first Head Brewer. Light amber colored, medium bodied, and balanced with German hops. The smooth mellow character of this beer makes it a great complement to a wide variety of food.

Our original Rogue Ale, Youngers Special Bitter (affectionately nicknamed YSB) is a classic English Special Bitter named after Bill Younger of the infamous Horse Brass Pub in Portland, Oregon. The Malt Advocate described Youngers Special Bitter as \rich and flavorful. A triad of caramel maltiness and hop bitterness in aroma and flavor. A fuller malt foundation than some other pale ales with some background spiciness. Formerly known as Your Mom on French Toast and YMOFT, we also occasionally call this the 'Morning After Stout,' because it's a perfect way to ease the pain on the morning after a night of celebrating. The Ypsi Gypsi is technically an American Pale Ale but we packed so much hop flavor and aroma into its 5.5% alcohol that we like to call it a session IPA. Golden straw in color with a medium body and crisp carbonation, the Gypsi flaunts a rich flowery, citrusy character on the nose, palate and finish that comes from several late additions of classic American hops.
