Bearded Baby Pale Ale is a beautifully hazy orangecolored ale that first presents itself with an aroma of candied oranges, mangoes, tropical fruit and pine. Overall, a light-bodied cracker and biscuit taste gives way to a slight bitterness and a fruity-sweetness. It leaves a bitterness requiring you to want to drink more. Bearded baby is named after Jack Powell, son of Amiste Cusson and Jeremiah Powell, of Canterbury. Legend has it that Jeremiah's beard was shorn during the babyshower held in anticipation of Baby jack's arrival. Upon seeing this fiasco, and knowing the value of a quality beard, members of the Epicure team gifted an adorable crocheted baby hat, with beard. Hence, bearded baby. No babies were harmed during the making of this beer.

Summer fests, summer songs, summer Fridays, summer vacations, summer flings….. all good reasons (as if we even needed one) to brew (and love) this citrusy summer IPA. Citra hops provide a juicy citrus character in this grapefruit peel-infused IPA. The malt blend adds depth and a touch of sweetness and gives the beer its bronze hue and medium body. The finish is all citrus, all day. This IPA is easygoing and ripe with citrus flavor. Happy summer.

NVC introduces itself with a citrusy and earthy aroma. The first sip provides a sharp grape-fruity bitterness. The beer finishes with a hint of spice, which lingers beyond the last sip. Horizon, Centennial, Simcoe and Amarillo hops were used in this brew. Ken’s brew-board listed “Hoppiness IPA” as the batch in tank 3. 2&1/2 is a deep colored red, with an aroma of plums and cherries, with a drizzle of chocolate. Larry Munson once described an incredible play thus, “We just stepped on their face with a hobnail boot and broke their nose! We just crushed their face!" Our Hobnail IPA won’t crush your face, but it might bruise your palate. We bittered with Newport, Nugget, and Columbus hops for a piney and citrusy punch, then finished with Cascade and Motueka for an extra layer of citrus aroma and flavor.

Everybody will have fun tonight with this crushable session IPA. Its multifaceted tropical flavors come from Ella and Mosaic hops, plus real mango juice.
