The smooth, delicate taste of the goldings fills the Pokawachne with earthy tones and the signature subtle, floral hop aroma found in a true golden ale.

Khatta Masala

Created with inspiration from the Indian subcontinent, Khatta Masala or “Sour Spices” begins life as a golden sour ale, and is transformed through red wine barrel ageing into a bright mango sour ale with spicy cardamom, cooling coriander, zesty black pepper, and fenugreek. Once this beer reaches its peak, we blend the wine barrels to attain the perfect resonance of our house sour culture with mango fruit and Indian spices.

Life In Technicolor

The third iteration in our Life In Technicolor series, is beer pops with notes of tropical fruit, pine and citrus. We brew this beer with a soft malt base consisting of a large amount of wheat to help provide a round mouthfeel and body. Over 10 lbs per barrel of blood orange zest and juice were added for a refreshing citrusy taste. Bittered slightly with Columbus we then hit this beer with a heavy dry-hopping consisting of Mosaic, El Dorado and Simcoe. It's like orange juice in a glass. Nashville Festbier

Nashville Festbier is a traditional Märzen style lager that was featured at the first Oktoberfest in 1810 and is deep amber in color. Märzen (German for the month of March) biers were traditionally brewed in the spring and lagered (stored) during the summer months. Before the advent of refrigeration, German brewers would dig cellars and fill them with ice from nearby lakes and rivers. The ice would keep the beer cool during the summer months.

Alternate Takes #5

Barrel-aged Raspberry & Blueberry Sour In the analog age of music, artists recorded take after take, experimenting with new sounds until a great record emerged. Our Alternate Takes series offers a peek into our iterative & creative R&D process, where each batch is celebrated as its own off-centered hit. Alternate Takes #5 is our fruit-forward sour beer rounded by tartness & hints of vanilla & oak. This beer started as a blonde ale fermented with raspberries & aged in red wine barrels with brettanomyces & lactobacillus before being blended & additionally aged with insane amounts of blueberry. The mild brett funk plays well off the bright berry character which is balanced by a soft lactic sourness. COLOR Deep ruby red with shades of plum AROMA Black raspberry, boysenberry jam & a mild brett funk FLAVOR Rich dark berry & cherry flavors followed by tartness & vanilla bean MOUTHFEEL Medium body, finishes dry & tart

BrewDog vs Cloudwater

BrewDog vs Cloudwater is a 6.8% Vermont-style India Pale Ale, hopped with Mosaic in the whirlpool only. Without any big-hitting additions of hops in the boil, we carried the flavour by heavily dry-hopping the brew with Citra and Mosaic. Topping out at around 35IBU, we also used oats in the recipe to deliver the trademark smooth mouthfeel – and made it truly authentic by propagating a one-off culture of Vermont yeast, specifically for the brew.
