Barleywine aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels The base beer for Bishop’s Barrel No. 15 is an English Barleywine. The style focuses on malt complexity, rather than hops like an American Barleywine. The appearance is blood red with a thin, off-white head that lingers. Aroma is rich with deep caramel malt, toffee, and dark fruit notes. The rye whiskey character brings out more spice and oak than a bourbon barrel aged beer, which typically lends more coconut and vanilla. The high alcohol does not hide itself, but remains in balance with the thick body of the beer. While the beer coats the glass, it also coats the throat and mouth. This is to be enjoyed over a long session so as not to rush the blossom of subtle floral characters in the aroma as the beer warms. When swirled, the rich malt and whiskey comes out and reminds you this is a beverage to be patient with and enjoyed slowly. This beer is ready to enjoy now, however it's built to age gracefully with proper cellaring. Enjoy between 55° and 65°.

A double version of our first ever beer, “Neck Oil,” brewed to celebrate our Fourth Birthday, everybody who has helped us over the years and all those around us who make great beer! Resinous and hoppy, but oh so dangerously drinkable. You will have cake coming out of your eyes.

The aroma is sweet with notes of milk chocolate and hazelnut. The beer is full bodied, sweet and warming. The flavours are dominated by notes of sweet dried fruits, hazelnut and dark belgian chocolate.

Komorebi is the sunlight filtering through the leaves of a tree-a refreshing curtain of light penetrating through the shade. Komorebi, the beer, is a Belgian-style Tripel fermented with pears,1/3 aged in freshly emptied Mezcal barrels and 2/3 aged in wine barrels. This is the first beer to emerge from our wood-program at our new brewery - the first light penetrating the shade.

Our Ninth Anniversary release is a special farmhouse style Saison brewed with simple, classic ingredients but carefully crafted to finish dry with a noticeable hop character. We added an ancient wheat called Einkorn to give this beer a link to the distant past as well. Like the Belgian farmhouse beers once offered to seasonal farm hands as a daily stipend, our version conjures up warm summer days that roll into cool harvest nights. The next time we release this it will be called our Saison. Enjoy!

This Scottish style beer also known as a “Wee Heavy” is extremely malty. We crafted this to be slightly sweet with very little hops as is traditional for this style. Aged in oak to add a smoothness and complexity to the sweetness.

This is a nice light ale (mid-strength). Colour: Light straw in colour (7 EBC) Smell: Floral top notes. Taste: Smooth and refreshing, lightly hopped. Dangerously easy to drink.

Imperial oat cream IPA w / cascade, hallertau blanc, mosaic + simcoe

Carefully selected Devil's Kriek from 2015 aged on Hood River Valley Bing and Vann cherries was given extra time in new French Oak barrels and blended with a small portion of next year's Kriek. Two years in the making for this complex and lovely brew.
