Showman

Unapologetically aggressive, our IPA uses a variety of hops to create a blend of nuances that range from earthy to fruity to white wine. A neutral house yeast keeps the background soft to ensure this beer stays hop forward from start to finish. Ludlow attracts a showman! William Bullock (1773-1849) traveled the world and earned his fortune as a showman presenting artifacts, ballyhoo and curiosities. He opened the museum Egyptian Hall in London in 1812, which later inspired legendary P.T. Barnum to create Barnum's American Museum in New York City. In 1828 Bullock purchased Ludlow from Thomas D. Carneal with the unabashed vision of developing the utopian community Hygeia, named after the Greek Goddess of Health. Bullock's dream went belly-up but his spirit lives on with BIRCUS, created in Belgium and brought to the U.S. through a licensing agreement between Matthias Vermael of Circusplaneet and Paul Miller of Circus Mojo. Like Bullock, Vermael and Miller think outside the big top.

Abundance Baltic Cherry Porter

Abundance is a Baltic Porter brewed with cherries. Full bodied and smooth with rich malty flavours that blend harmoniously with the cherry notes. Roast coffee and subtle hops on the nose, lush mellow malt with a light bitterness on the palate finishes with a hint cherry sweet and sour. This beer was brewed the first time for Christmas 2013. It became our most successful beer ever launched when it emptied from our warehouse within 3 hours of it being available to our New Zealand customers, we even became aware of black market bartering occurring for it between our distributors!

Hopster

This is Dan's bold creation. You hold the international marriage of a sophisticated Bavarian Hefeweiss and an assertive American Pale Ale. Amarillo dry hopping drives Wisconsin Red Wheat. Traditional open top fermentation cultivates our proprietary Bavarian Weiss yeast in our own Wheat Beer Cellars. Absolutely 100% natural bottle conditioned. This is a living beer. Expect to pour a thick creamy head into your glass. Savor the fierce onslaught of clove, cinnamon, and citrus nose. Our very popular Imperial Weizen ratchets down for the session. Drink to adventure and friends in Wisconsin. We are the state of beer.

Oi! Burton Ale

The IPA's older, less well known brother is the Burton Ale. It is a sweeter and stronger drink that typical IPAs. It has a rich flavor, and a sort of twang that comes from a basic grain bill of pale and chocolate malts with a large burst of English hops added at the beginning of the boil. It is not overly bitter, but as it matures it gives way to a more mellow strength from the malt as well as the hops. Oi! is a subgenre of punk rock that originated in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s. The music and its associated subculture had the goal of bringing together punks, skinheads and other working-class youth. This beer helps do the same.

We wanted to deconstruct the flavor profile of a porter and recreate those flavors without using the traditional roasted malts to create a new take on a classic style creating a light blonde colored, full flavored beer. Ritual Rivers Cocoa Coffee Porter

Collaboration between 4 Noses, Ritual Chocolate and Two Rivers Coffee. The first impression of this beer starts with a beautiful aroma of Ethiopian Coffee Beans. The mahogany color can be misleading on how light and crisp this beer actually is. The coffee is present on the initial sip of the beer, but the flavor profiles are rounded out by a smooth cocoa flavor from the local cocoa nibs. The porter itself is brewed with roasted malts that work in perfect harmony with the nibs and beans.
