This wasn’t Made In Japan, but you would be forgiven for thinking it lights up like a Highway Star and sends you Space Truckin.

Life is full of tough decisions. One of the brewery’s late 2017 was whether or not to attempt to redefine, or augment, what a Pilsner can be. With all the unfiltered, crazy dry-hopping going on around the country, seemed only right that Wolverine do something outside of the box. Decisions are Hard uses a fundamental German Pils recipe but uses Flaked Oats to soften the body of the beer, and a dreamy and creamy haze. The standout aspect of this lager is the hopping. Using two often difficult to find hops, Callista and Arianna, DAH has a much subtler bitterness, fruitier hop flavor, and a profound herbally, dank aroma that is a wholly unique from typical German Noble hops. However, it still screams of the old world hops. Decisions are Hard is undoubtedly a new style of beer. However, once you try it, the decision to have one, is a no-brainer.

New England IPA

Taking an old school malt approach to the classic style West Coast Pale Ale, and adding some new school hops for additional aroma and flavor. This beer pours a deep amber color from the use of pale malt, Munich malt, and a mild crystal malt; creating a solid malt flavor, with a touch of sweetness, finishing crisp and clean. We decided to throw out the boil hops, and move them all to a large whirlpool addition; creating a unique flavor profile. A large dry hop of Equinox, Simcoe, and Mandarina Bavaria were chosen to create a bold grapefruit, sweet orange peel, melon, and berry aroma and flavor.

The traditional easy drinking, malt-balanced brown lager style of Munich. Dark copper with complex, deeply bready-toasty aroma and flavor and hints of nut and chocolate produced from an extended kettle boil.

So we’ve taken the components of an American Pale Ale and cranked it up! With liberal additions of Cascade, Willamette and Chinook, as well as a dose of dry hops, this is a tasty treat indeed. As it hits your tastebuds; citrus, grapefruit and pine hoppy goodness fills your mouth. In the words of our Head Brewer, “Extra flavour. Extra yum.”

This traditional ale pours smooth with cascading bubbles and a creamy head, just like an Irish Stout should.

Imperial stout aged in Ardbeg barrels for 15 months.

A light bodied bright yellow India Cream Ale with bready yeast aromas and subtle citrus scents. Flavors of sweet grain and soft lemon spice flow pleasantly into a decent sized grassy bitterness that lingers sufficiently on the pallet.

Features the darkest of Crystal malts and a whole lot of them. Add some dark brown sugar, British hops and yeast and you have a very tasty beer worthy of celebrating an honorable agreement between partners, the Olde English meaning of Drincelean.

Barke Pilsner, Bohemian Pilsner, Carafoam, and Acidulated malts with Magnum and Czech Saaz hops.
