Shattered Dream is an Imperial nod to our flagship Breakfast Stout. Brewed to celebrate our 100th batch and packed full of coffee, vanilla and cacao this stout does not do things by half measure.

The latest of our collaborative efforts hits the keg wall. Northern Monk journeyed over to Wales at the end of April, to brew a very special beer with our good friends at Celt Brewery. For this beer, we decided to go back to our heritage and make something that was traditionally brewed in monasteries centuries ago - a 'Braggot'. Braggots were traditionally enjoyed by monks and Celts alike. Somewhere between an ale and a mead, we felt this was the perfect style of beer to add to our existing range at Northern Monk. Our Double Braggot, 'The Clas', is set to weigh in at 7.2% and promises to be deliciously sweet and spicy.

his Belgium style tripel is brewed with bitter orange peels and coriander. Though this is a big beer that weighs in at 9.7% ABV, it is balanced by the hints of spice you get from the orange peels, coriander, and hops. There really isn’t anything “still” about this beer!

The Goal: To create complexity centering on oak, in a multitude of forms, by brewing high gravity beers in complementary styles, aging them in different barrel formats and then blending them together to achieve harmonious new flavors. The Barrels: The individual lots were aged in oak barrels that once contained Bourbon or Rum. The barrels are selected from only the best spirit producers. Each barrel lends its own unique influence on the final blend. The Puzzle: To blend these various components to create a synergistic whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. This is done with the help of a few of our neighboring Paso Robles winemakers who are practicing experts in the art of blending. The Blending Session: The Anniversary Ale blending session is an annual rite at the brewery. As always, our winemaker friends broke into teams, and a spirited competition ensued to create the winning blend, which you know hold in your hands.

Who ever said to get your head out the clouds had it all wrong. We say, look to the clouds. Inspired by the jagged Cloudcroft Peaks tucked near the southern boundary of Glacier National Park, we brew this beer in honor of all those summit seekers and cloud watchers. With more than 2 pounds per barrel of late hop additions, this IPA delivers some serious hop aroma. A pungent mix of CTZ, Chinook, Cascade and Summit hops distribute a delicious bouquet of golden citrus goodness.

The next iteration of Evo's unfiltered IPA series. Gives OG American hops a refresh with some new school favorites to give a hazy hop experience. Chinook and Crystal build a citrus and pine foundation for tropical and juicy equanot and citra. Dry hopped 5+ times with amarillo, simcoe, and cites hops then left unfiltered

Roasted notes up front, followed by strong chocolate from the malt and addition of Endangered Species 60% Dark Chocolate. Nose is all chocolate, with a thick, creamy body.

Short-Line uses Marris Otter and Oats to create a malty - near nutty, creamy mouthfeel that is hopped with Chinook and Idaho 7 hops. The aroma is full of tropical fruit notes. It finishes crisp and refreshing.

A unique porter brewed with dark chocolate, lactose and a touch of cayenne pepper. The lactose adds a touch of sweetness, which compliments the subtle heat from the cayenne, creating an irresistible balance.

Mexican style dark lager fermented with a very special British Ale yeast. This unique mashup is reddish-brown in color with slight hints of stone fruit, caramel, and roast, finishing clean and smooth.

With Aloha Sculpin, we used Brux Trois yeast to turn our award-winning IPA into a tropical oasis, with bright and refreshing notes of mango, pineapple and guava, along with a slight haze and smooth mouthfeel.

This Imperial IPA is bursting with flavor due to running the wort through 47lbs of whole Cascade & Centennial hops before cooling. The end result is an intense blend of citrus, floral, and fresh pine flavors, with a beautiful golden hue.

Brewed with pale barley malt from Valley malt and malted oats, we hopped extensively with Nelson Sauvin, Centennial, Cascade, and Columbus hops and double-dryhopped this beer for good measure. It’s loaded with jammy, juicy, citrusy, and floral hop character.
