A dry, light bodied traditional mead with rich flavors and aromas of honey comb, gingerbread, and wood notes from barrel aging. Crafted with Alfalfa/Clover honey from Beeyond the Hive, Salida, Colorado. 13.5% Alc/Vol

Sierra Nevada Old Cantankerous (Stock Ale) is a collaboration beer brewed on 9/04/09 at Sierra Nevada’s R&D Pilot Brewery for Beer Camp #13. Beer Camps #13 & #14 consisted of the gold medal winning homebrewers from the 2009 American Homebrewers Association (AHA) National Homebrew Competition (NHC). Old Cantankerous was brewed with a combination of seven different domestic & continental malts including two types of Caramel, Chocolate, Pale, Pils, Munich & Vienna for a rich complexity with five different hops being used for balance & character including Magnum, Perle, Sterling & the New Zealand hops Pacifica & Southern Cross which were used in the hopback for additional aroma & complexity. The famous house ale yeast was used to top ferment & condition this American Strong Ale/Stock Ale for approx. 8-10 weeks. Like previous camp beers, Old Cantankerous is only available in select markets and at the brewery’s taproom & restaraunt until it’s history!

A sweet methyglyn made with pure honey, whole coriander and bitter orange peel. The spices combine beautifully with the honey aroma. The honey flavor starts immediately and is followed boldly by the spices. The sweetness is counter-balanced by the spices. Lively, bright and warming from the alcohol. Goes well with Mexican cuisine or other spicy foods.

A mead made with wildflower honey and a blend of five different berry juices (black currant, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry and strawberry). Pours dark ruby red, sweet on the palette with a heavy berry fruit nose with honey. The black currant and raspberry give this mead a nice balance of acidity to balance the honey sweetness, while the rest of the fruit provides the structure to the finish. Pairs extremely well with dark chocolate, creamy and stinky cheeses, as well as a salad with a light vinaigrette or poured over vanilla ice cream!

Imperial Rye Porter aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels. Statement of Composition: 40% Malt Beverage aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels. 60% Malt Beverage. Dirty Old Man: "Gimme a sponge bath."

Barrel aged cross between an Old Ale and a Baltic Porter. Brewed with a lot of biscuit malt and molasses.

52/48 blend of Black Raspberry Nectar and New Belgium La Folie.

Rich, honey wine with black currants, aged with French oak.

Metheglin. This pale yellow mead has aromas of anise, wood, and honey. It has a spicy, woodsy, earthy, and black licorice flavor and finishes long and spicy.

A hoppy twist on the classic English Porter. Our Black Marlin Porter stands out in a town known primarily for its IPA’s. We craft it from a unique blend of roasted and crystallized malts that give it a smooth, chocolaty, caramel profile. Then toss in a healthy dose of American hops to serve up full-bodied flavor worthy of its San Diego roots.

Jack Daniels barrel-aged version of the original Blackbeerd. Released 3/09, in black wax-topped bottles. Total bottle release: 96. As dark as the legend of Blackbeerd himself, behold the Imperial Stout. Sweet malts battle roasted grain on the decks of yer tongue. Like a blast from a cannon, hop are followed by smoked malt. Hold on to yer booty, a dark stouts a brewin’. (9.3% abv) Seasonal-winter. And yes, this IS a lighter bodied stout-easier drinkin’ in the not so cold south. Ingredients: Two-row barley*, Black, Caraffa*, Roasted barley*, Smoked, Oats* and Extra Special* malts, Magnum and Palisades hops, ale yeast and filtered water.

This delightful, fruity wine is made by fermenting Blackberries and Honey together, without using sulfites or grapes. Serve chilled, before or after dinner, by itself or with chocolate or dessert.

Made with local, native blackberries. Aged with Hungarian oak, giving this mead brilliant notes of vanillin, roasted coffee and light black pepper characters.
